ive always seen summer braids on straight or wavy hair, i wonder if theres anything to suit curly hair??

I love Lindsays braid here (I think it's her anyway.) It's so cute and casual without looking like a total mess. I also like Mandy's but I'm not a big fan of Jessica's for some reason.

I think that it's an adorable look, I'm just too scared to do it myself. I don't think that my hair is thick enough to handle it.

i love braids, too bad it's much harder to do it on my curly hair. I also worry that it might make me look to young but mandy's braids seem to be a good alternative.

Does anyone actually know how to do that? If I tried to do it by myself without any direction it'd probably be all lopsided and weird. But I like it a lot!

I was pretty good at braiding my hair for a while. I had a head full of perfect casual braids earlier this spring, but it's like I'm braid-cursed now

thanks for some nice solutions for long hair. braids definitely help to beat the heat, but these are great styles for the traveling gal who has limited time to look fashionable.

Those other ones look too tightly pulled for long wavy or curly hair.

I love Linds braids here, I always hate how I look with messy braids in my hair but I might give this look a try again, it's getting pretty hot here in Texas and having long, straight, thick hair is the worst! So I'm always looking for ways to keep cool and I hate having my hair up in a ponytail.

I agree, these are NOTHING new! braids has always been the thing, just that more ppl are exposed to them and different varieties, no biggie, especially when ppl go to the Caribbean and get their hair braided, either in cornrow, singles or another style. Jessica's style i see all the time, i even do that do my hair when i'm bored and just put it all in a bun at the back then, the one on the left i've seen that for some years now...especially on tv too, I dont fancy Lindsay's, i'm not one for loose braids/braiding but some styles suit different ppl and different hair textures anyway.

I know you showed us how to do Jessica's, but in my opinion, it's the ugliest one. Can you guys show us how to get Mandy's look?
