At this weekend's Valentino gala, Sienna stepped away from her normal low-key hair and makeup in a big way. Her dark brows, red lipstick that matches her dress, a perky up-do with visible roots... taken individually these statements could work, but together it's a bit much, I think. Do you think Sienna is pulling this off? (Plus, does this make anyone else think of Madonna's "Who's That Girl?" phase?)

22I love Sienna Miller, but this look is a bit much for her. The red lips would be great without the dark eyebrows. It's the same as picking which feature you want to play up, eyes or lips. Don't get me wrong, I still love Sienna, but this was a bad move.

29I think she kept the makeup and hair from the photoshoot she did that day (I think it was for Valentino - I saw pics on some site). Bad idea. The thing that bugs me about her is that she clearly thinks that she can wear any look and people will think she looks awesome. I used to love her style but I think she's not been looking as great in the last year or more.

36Weird. First of all it's so jarring that she changed her look so radically and secondly it's not done well at all. We're used to seeing her with a nude lip so this red is a bit much, but then those eyebrows just look scary. Why she felt the need to fill them in with such a dark pencil, I'll never know, I just hope she doesn't do this again. Bad sienna!

43Actually, thicker eyebrows are very high fashion. Does anyone ever look in fashion magazines such as Vogue, Bazaar, etc? And every year it is the style. So Sienna is just being the high fashion risk taker that she is known to be. Beautifully done!

47First of all, she has lovely bone-structure and if any blonde could wear that look, it would be her (or maybe Uma Thurman). Yes, she is reminiscent of Sharon Stone. Having said that, although the harsh lights drain colour from one's skin the overal orangy and brown colours are unflattering and exaggerated. The whole "match the lipstick to the dress" game is bad. Strong eyes or strong mouth, but not both.
