The lovely GiggleSugar is just gaga over Revlon's Just Bitten lip stain. "Try it," she told me. "It's amazing." Well, it turns out she wasn't joking for once!
Just Bitten is available in four reddish tints, but I followed Giggle's lead and tried it in Berry Juicy. It has a light fruity fragrance, and though it's a little too "fake fruity" for me, the scent is not overpowering. The consistency is just like water, but the roller ball controls how much comes out; I found that just a little swipe covered my lips completely, giving them a sheer wash of red. Admittedly, my application could have been better, but I like how fresh this color is. It isn't obvious, but it brightens my face a lot. Just Bitten costs $11.50, which seems pricey for a drugstore product until you see how long the roll lasts. Compared to the boutique-brand alternatives, it's a steal.

drugstore brands are getting quite pricey these days.
1at those prices i'd rather go with a department store brand
what shade would be good for olive skin tones?
2Interesting...now whos's lips are those?
3those are clay aiken's
4Eh, it's just okay. I'd pay more for something I loved.
5Gen,
For warmer skin tones, try the shade called "Blood Orange". It's kind of coral-peachy--I love it anyway!
6Sounds great Iwant to try
7i agree with helenette..for a few bucks more you can get a lip gloss at MAC & actually try it on before you purchase which i hard to do with the drug store brands
8At Longs and Rite Aid, you can return them even if they were opened.
9I did not like mine at all, it was hard to use for me...
10This stuff was a total waste of money. It doesn't last at all. Maybe 10 minutes after you put it on all that’s left is a line at the edge almost like a lip liner. Oh and don't kiss anybody because it will come right off. I give this negative stars, it certainly wasn't worth the 11.50$ I paid.
11I was going to try this, but got too distracted by that strange lip sugar stuff Revlon is trying to push.
12OOh I love!
13Hmmm, I am intrigued. I haven't used lip stain before, but at $11, this might be worth a shot.
14Revlon's products are getting increasingly pricier but they don't represent a majority of the drugstore brands. It's sad because the quality of their products is going down, in my opinion. I bought the lip stain in blood orange and it looks good but it doesn't last nearly as long as my Benetint. I find the brush in Benetint is easier to use but the rollerball in Revlon's stain isn't too bad.
15that color shown above looks just like Benetint, definitely. I like using Benetint under a gloss cause even when the gloss wears off, my lips still have the hint of color
16I have the cherry tart color of the Just Bitten product and it seriously turns your lips into a Gwen Stefani/Christina Aqulierla-like hot red! It stays on forever too.
17I don't care for lip stains. I like lipstick. Semi-matte. Red. Red. Red.
18Hmmmm, I have never tried a lip stain....I might have to try this!
19I don't like the red colors, I'd rather have one in a pink/peachish color.
20I'd rather try theBalm Staniac or Becca Beach Tint.
21I like Sonia Kashuk's (at Target) lip stain better then the Revlon one. I searched high and low for this Revlon one and ended up a bit dissapointed. The SK one smells like roses and it's a perfect stain color!
22This product doesn't last very long on me. I also found it hard to apply.
23it looks just like benetint. it is nice that the application is on a roller ball, benetint is impossible to take with you so this looks much more portable.
24I really want to try a lip stain but I'm not really into red lips because I have red hair and fair skin. It's not a good look on me.
25if you take the roller off and apply with a Q-tip...
26It goes on perfect!
just a tip.
I like lip stains better cause my hair won't stick to them, but my problem is I'm roller ball challenged. I've found that dabbing it on my lips and using either a Q-tip or my finger works well.
27Def. similar to Benetint except not as purple. Interesting that the lip stain trend has finally trickled down to drugstores.
