Woo hoo! Cindy Crawford and the rest of the mole people have something big to celebrate. A new study reports some great news for those of us who have plentiful moles (or beauty marks, if you prefer):
Scientists claim that those with lots of moles are years younger biologically than those with mark-free skin. ... They may retain their youthful looks for longer and could be at lower risk of a host of age-related diseases such as heart disease or osteoporosis.
Could this be the reason Cindy looks amazing at 41? As someone who also has a beauty mark on her face, I'm hoping the answer is yes! Do you have moles? Have they affected the way you feel about your appearance?

i have beauty marks...they are small and flat....but tons all over my arms and legs...my dad has them too and he does have really young skin...i, personally, have always wished my legs didnt have them but ive grown to love them
1My grandfather lived till his late 80's and he was a spritely younger looking person right to his death. He was covered in moles and beauty marks. I have two beauty marks on my face and I've always felt it made me special, unique.
2Wow that is cool news! I have them all over. When I was younger I despised them but as I have gotten older I have come to appreciate the uniqueness they give me.
3I have 2 beauty marks on my face. One on the side of my face near my ear and another one on my eyelid...that is almost unnoticable...if someone does see it..they like it's a smudge of makeup. In school I was always selfconsious of them...but now...I really don't care.
4Cindy's still so beautiful and young looking. I don't think it's all about her mole
5Seriously? Who did this study, the Enquirer? I don't know... it seems like most people have beauty marks somewhere on their body.
6Yea I hope this is true!! I have moles all over including one similar to Cindy's on my face!
7i have 2 prominent moles on my face -- one on my right upper lip (a perfect "marilyn" LOL), and one in the exact center of my chin (i used to hate it, now i love it). there's freckles and moles all over my arms, legs, hands, feet.....nobody has a freckle in the middle of their palm!! makes you unique
8No beuaty marks on my face but i'm hoping that i'l be like my grnadpa and my dad they both stopped aging in their 30s lol. My grandad was 84 and he still had women les than half his age hitting on him.
9I'm really moley, have been all my life, I used to be extremely self conscious of it, but I've pretty much gotten over it (I knew a guy who said he loved it, he called me chocolate chip cookie, which was weird, but a little flattering)
10Yay this is good news! I have tons of moles, my favorite is a little dark one right under my left eye and i love it! Yay for youthful skin when I'm older
11Chocolate Chip Cookie? heheee so cute
12I have them all over my body and don't mind at all, there is only one I have thought about having removed. right under my nose above my lip. It is so light in color that it often gets mistaken for a zit...I don't like that one at all.
13I don't understand the science behind this (lots of moles = longer telomeres = younger you = whaaaaaaaaa?) but it sounds good.
I have tons of moles everywhere...
The only one I had on my face I had shaved off. It was on my chin and it looked like a witch's mole (complete with totally unwanted hair). Shaving it off doesn't totally remove it, but it is flush with my skin. I still have to pluck it, too (ugh!). I've thought about eventually saving up enough money to have it completely removed.
14Let's see I have one on my arm, and three on my face, one under my left eyebrow, one on the right side of my nose, and one on the right side of my lip. So I hope this is true.
15Sweet! I have - eh hem - beauty marks all over my back and shoulders (the small flat kind, phew). But I don't understand how moles on my back are going to help me "retain my youthful looks for longer". Eh, I'm sure those scientists have their reasons. I'll believe!
16I have a mole right in the center towards the top of my back. It actually looks really cute when I wear halter tops (I think) because it's a really unique mark that nobody else has.
17I have three on my face and four, and a few around other parts of my body. In terms of my appearance, I have never worried about them because my mom always called them beauty marks, so I always assumed they were sexy. lol.
18I hope this is true! Cuz i have a good amount of them! (from my heritage)
19Cool! I have one just to the right of my lips that people always compliment me on. I didn't like it so much when I was younger but Cindy C. made it "hot" and I grew to appreciate it. Many more in other places too.
20Yes!!! I have soooo many moles, that means I will look 30 when I'm 60. Ahahha
21I have a beauty mark on my face! Hooray! I'll let you know how it turns out for me.
22I have a perfect cindy crawford one just above my lip on the left side, though its a little bit tinier tan cindy's. I sure hope this is true!!
23I believe that you have to have 100 moles or more in order to really benefit. It's still very interesting however.
24give me some moley guacamolies
25that's insane!
26i have one right next to my nose and a baby on the top of my upper lip. and i love them its something different but i am scared that the one next to my nose is going get bigger cuz right now its flat
27wow!! i have three on my face...and one huge one on my back.. which i absolutely LOVE!! =)
28Mine is just like Cindy's; I love it and am glad to hear it carries health benefits as well, I always thought it was lucky.
29I don't have big moles, but I have freckles all over my face. I do think they make me look younger. I'm 27 and I still can pass for 17. I get offered high school clothes at stores when it's the season, and I get carded if I want to buy booze. Haha.
30my mother has lots of them and everybody think she's thirty five.
31I have moles and look very young. But in the case of Cindy Crawford, she admits to using botox as well as other skin injectables, etc to help her stay young looking. Kind of hippocritical that she sells a skincare line, making money off of reagular people with claims of a cream that can keep you young and then runs to the dermatologist to have botox.
32tons of moles here...in my mid twenties but often get mistaken for being under 21. used to hate them growing up for being teased...now I don't mind, but am loving this revelation!
33I think this is totally bogus.
My mother just turned 44 this year and she looks just as good, if not better, than Cindy. [and actually, people often mistake my mother for Cindy all the time, haha]
My mother has no moles to speak of. I mean, we've got birthmarks and stuff, but no actual moles on our faces. I'm pretty sure it just has to do with your genes and how well you take care of yourself.
Because honestly I've seen a lot of OLD looking individuals with moles galore.

34toonasaurus- i have a freckle in the middle of my palm!!
and i don't understand the science behind this at all lol but whatever!
35I have one right in the middle of my forehead:

Not THE best picture of it but I've always hated it but over time and being fearful of removing it, there it sits.
I've gotten used to it but still smudge it out in most photos.
I have lot of other moles on my back and shoulders, I hope the above factoids are true!!
36Although I'd like to believe this (I am quite "moley"), I agree with pinkcocoa - Cindy Crawford said recently that she has been getting various skin injectables for years. Since she was in her 20s, even. I wonder if a lot of models do... Anyway, I think that probably has more to do with her appearance than her moles.
