The Bumpit may be passe these days, but there's a new TV hair sensation just screaming for attention. It's Bling String, little spools of metallic thread in Lady Gaga-worthy shades of lilac and Kermit green. One of my Sugar friends just said it looks like tinsel to her, and I'm inclined to agree. But then again, I do want hair that *pings* whenever I move, and who can say no to blingin' in the fun? Plus, it comes with a whole book of mysterious Bling String "techniques" that I have yet to master, so maybe I'll check it out for myself. Stay tuned . . .

Versace
That comercial was annoying, if she said "bling" one more time I was going to lose it.
At least they're clearly marketing to an under 18 demographic. Can you imagine someone walking into the office with this stuff in? I'd wonder who attacked them with tinsel and try to help them get it out. Fortunately all it takes is a "simple tug".
I kind of love this! ha ha ha I'm 34 and I wouldn't mind a little bling string, except that I stay home with my children and I'd probably look like a desperate housewife! But I'm still kind of in love with this!
Is this a new product? The font and production screams 1983
This is too cheesy of an ad.
I would totally rock this if I was 14. There's a part of me that wants to rock it now, but I would probably look kind of silly.
I can see where it'd be a little "Jem and the Holograms" for me at 30 but I would LOVE to try it for a night out! Maybe if I got girlfriends to do it with me...
Maybe something for 9 year old girls who love princesses but not for me.
I love tinsel....for Christmas trees. I don't think I want it in my hair. And the "word" bling needs to go away. It's ridiculously annoying.
I tried googling for a better look. Holy cow it shares it's name with stripper thongs (no, literally) and shoelace bling. This product was NOT well named.
My 9 yo daughter had some of these put in at the beginning of July and they're still hanging in there. She likes it a lot.
ha! when i was in high school i used to occasionally put tinsel in my hair for a night out. (did i mention i was possibly going through a regrettable club-kid-meets-pop-starlet fashion phase?)
I'll be very interested to try it, probably will bring luck for me ! bling string new style to be more confident. suitable for young girl as me. thanks a lot .....keep write!
I actually like to have sparkly hair..
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I have never had a better response from people when I walk down the street. Everyone wants to know where I got it, so tell them that I bought it at Claire's at the mall.
I love it. Anyway to bling my hair and I am down. This just solved my birthday present problem for my 11 yr old sister.
This stuff is really cool. I got some for a birthday party and everyone put it in their hair. We had a blast all night and felt special. It was easy to use and it came in all different colors. will definitely buy more of this stuff. It's great!
I love bling string it is adorable in my hair. I talked my cheer coach into letting the whole team wear them at games. My whole cheerleading team loves them they really shine! On sidelines they look so fab!
i so totally love bling string it is so flippin cute. I feel like a diva walkin down the street wearing it. I get so many complements. I should so totally model it for the company because so many people adore me. Bling sting brings hair from drab to fab i need that extra pazaz! But wait there is more bling string is not a bore! and you dont look like a wh*re... well atleast any more... but yay! you can even be gay and wear it and make peoples day.
