The Internet's been abuzz with talk about cosmetic brand Illamasqua's recent launch in the US. All the excitement about such high pigment colors got me wondering, though: how bright are you willing to go with your eye shadow? Do you stick to pastels and taupes, or have you been known to rock an electric orange now and again? And what about day and night? Do you brightness discriminate there or no?

I LOVE my bright eyeshadows! I rock bright green or blue all the time. The only time I tone it down is when I'm at work where I wear a shiny grey or purple.
Bright eyeshadows are very beautiful on people who have a very tan or black skin. It makes there eyes really pop then! I'm quite fair so it doesn't look on good me. I mostly use earthy colors although I have a few very bright colors. They mix well with neutral tones and just look very cute in my palette! =)
I don't mind wearing bright eyeshadows every once in a while! I definitely don't coat my whole lid in it though. I generally go for a neutral look during the day, but I like to mix it up occasionally
I do more 'smokey' then bright usually, but I think bright eyeshadows are gorgeous on most people.
I can't wait for this brand to launch here. I think more women should use color in their makeup. Everyone is starting to look the same. Ex: smokey eye and nude lip.
I'm not really experimental with my eyeshadow. I'm pale and have blue eyes, so I think bright eyeshadows just look weird on me.
AllyOh I do the same! I prefer to do smokey eyes but I like to use bright eyeshadow when im feeling wild (:
I used to wear a different color every day and they were usually pretty bright and/or very shimmery, but now I usually stick to a very light color or no color at all (just eyeliner) because I think the more makeup I wear the older I look...
I love Illamasqua. I don't do bright every day, but it gets boring doing to the same look every day. A lot of Illamasqua and MUFE's brights are matte too, which is awesome from an artistry perspective.
I prefer bright lipstick and more neutral eyes for myself, but bright eye-shadow can be stunning on some people!
Meh I've got dark hair and dark eyes, and olive skin, it looks strange on me
I tried the turquoise/teal trend but generally stick to nudes and plums.
I'm very pale with blonde hair and green eyes. Bright eyeshadow helps to make my eyes pop and gives some color to my otherwise muted features.
never. I have rather vibrant red hair, I think I would look funky with bright colors.
I do bright at night usually - it shows up well and flatters bc. I have brown skin.
