It's exciting to see Carol's Daughter grow from a teeny-tiny operation to a large-and-in-charge one. The Brooklyn-based line is known for its hair and skin products, and now it's expanding into color with the launch of Candy Paint.
Candy Paint is a collection of lip glosses in 12 colors. Carol's Daughter is often thought of as a great company for women of color, so it's no surprise that many of the shades would look wonderful on darker skin. But others seem like they'd be just as flattering on fair skin, too—there really is a shade for everybody. What's nice about these glosses is that they have shea butter, but they're free of petroleum, mineral oil, artificial colors and parabens. What's more, a portion of sales of the $13.50 gloss benefit the Lupus Foundation of America. I haven't tried these yet, but I'm hoping to swing by Sephora this weekend to check out the consistency.

Sounds too good to be true
1I keep getting emails from them about these glosses but I've never opened them, but now you've got me interested. I forgot that they probably wouldn't contain chemicals, I love my other Carol's Daughter Products so I'd probably buy one. I bet they smell great too.
2I love Carol's Daughter.I use alot of her hair products.I want to try the candy paint.
3A co-worker told me about Carol's Daughter products, i have yet to try them out but if BellaSugar is recommending it and there are good reviews then i will def try some of the products soon!!
4Park Avenue Pink, This Is Me and Diva are the colors I would to get. The colors look lovely and the packaging is very cute.
5Sounds good, but 13.50 for a little tube of gloss is too steep for me.
6I love the packaging and can't wait to hear more!
7I love the colors.

11They look like they'd smell amazing and feel good on the lips. Loving the bold colors.
12I'm gonna try this. I'm glad to see Carol's Daughter grow, and I love her products...
13I love this brand and can't wait to try the glosses and see what else she comes out with. Also, everything is at great prices.
14I'm a big fan of this brand, I'm going to try them @ Sephora for sure. It's funny, but I originally bought from them because my Mom's name is Carol, and it just cracked me up to have something that said "Carol's Daughter" in my purse!
