Now that Sarah Jessica's Covet is in stores, the marketing blitz has gone full-tilt. Here's a short, cheeky little commercial set in Paris (which, of course, reminds me of the finale of SATC... sigh.) Whatcha think?

Its so scary!! I don't like it.. when i 1st saw it on tv I was left thinking.. What the f-?
At first I was kind of like ehhh.. but I do think it was a cute commercial overall.
I think its hysterical. I laugh every time i see it
it was weird for sure.i think that helped you to remeber it, something to make you pay attention to the perfume.
yeah it's funny too
its so dumb! why is there a cop in the backseat of the car holding that huge bottle she was tryin to steal??
LOLOL its silly enough to make u laugh
UGH!! that commercial....all i have to say is the end...She looks even more like a freak now...
I actually found this commercial hilarious. We saw it last night and loved it.
OMG HILARIOUS!
that just TOTALLY made my day
hahahahhah
i loved the product placement on the christian louboutins...the commercial was lame, but i remember it and the perfume, so i guess it works
i think its cute! and very SATC!
I think it's meant to be kind of silly. Personally I like it better than a lot of perfume commercials out there b/c I see this one and say "yeah, that's silly and kind of clever. I get it." (hint hint Britney Spears whatever your fragrance is called, Chanel, and just about every other perfume maker out there)
Love it!
i love when she kicks the window. it's a unique take on something that has probably already been done so i loved it
is covet for crazed people who wear big couture dresses in prison with psychotic looks on their faces?
total thumbs down.
I love the Louboutins and the rest of the fashion in the commercial... But she can't pull off "crazy". It does flow.
Kinda dumb, but I love it. I actually paid attention to see what the heck the commercial was for! lol
I think it's cute.
luv it! sjp is a goddes
I think the idea is cute ... and her red shoes are fab, but the face she makes at the end when she is in jail is just too intense for me! and she learly wasn't hurrying fast enough to grab the bottle ... no wonder she got caught! haha ... i didn't like it
it makes her fragrance seem like a joke. how unfortunate.
It's kind of funny but mostly just stupid.
The last few seconds are the scariest
I agree completely with spazzydana and must say I rather like her avatar
I love it because it's weird and crazy
From my marketing point of view, I think it actually conveys their message. The storyline is knda lame and cheesy but it's overall, effective. You can't help but remember it and it might generate you to want to have it. That's the most important part in advertising---conveying the message at the "top of mind".
There seem to be a lot of weird fragrance commercials, but I kinda like this one for some reason.
she always looks scary and witchy...but this one takes the cake
I think it's a neat concept for a commercial, however that face at the end is a little too "Hocus Pocus"-esque for me.
I liked it, though.
At first, I didn't really like it, but then it grew on me.
I love SJP but that last shot of her...it's just plain weird!
I love it! I think it's a cool idea & it's fun to watch. Plus, I love the Louboutins.
I saw this today...at least it's memorable...still undecided though.
This is "SATC meets Hocus Pocus" SJP. I liked the commercial all the way up until the "I had to have it" part at the very end!
HATE. Did she write this commercial herself?
Of course, I have no love for SJP, so that very well could have something to do with it.
I like the commercial. It's fun.
i like it, but i wonder if she meant to have her face seem so harsh at the end.
I agree with pink pink. That commercial scares me--she looks very strange--her eyes--YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
definitely memorable, lol
I love it - its hilarious!
Ok, I saw the print ad earlier today and hated them, but this commercial is pretty funny, I think her sense of humor doesn't come through in print, I took it seriously
I do have to say I hate the shoes she's trying to kick through the glass there dont match!
i think it is cute and kind of a spoof on all the crazy perfume ads (like White Diamonds.) I mean, at least she gets who she is, and what the product is. Real question -- how does it smell?!?!
cheesy cheesy chessy
I hate that damn commericial. I especially hate the crazy-but I might start laughing look on her face at the end.
Okay - I saw this commercial and it is awful!!! She should be ashamed of herself! After I saw it I said that it has to be one of the worst commercials of all time----it's that bad!
I love SJP, but seriously is that commercial supposed to sell perfume or straitjackets? She looks nuts at the end. Spooky. And ooky.
I love Sara but the commercial stinks ,just one squirt What Is That i mean really , one squirt...does that make you want it?Id rather see chic.
I think it's great! Associating her perfume with all that we covet right here on Sugar... fashion, the oh so popular Louboutins, being driven off in a police car LOL ...
(not that we covet that particular act, but a few of those most coveted in Hollywood HAVE in fact been there a lot lately)...
She could easily make the argument that this is her reflection of what she sees being "coveted" in Hollywood today. Some of today's most photographed are coveted sheerly by associating with someone else famous... why shouldn't it work for SJP's perfume too?
Oh... and it's really funny too! LOL
I don't like how it condones breaking the law ... but I have to admit I laughed at it.
