A couple of years ago, I treated myself to a T3 tourmaline hair dryer. The travel version is $130—pricey, yes, but I had a gift certificate. It was a wonderful luxury because it dries quickly, without overheating hair or creating split ends. Unfortunately, my kitty Milo thought it was a toy, and he batted it until it fell off the bathroom counter and onto the floor. It smashed in two and is no longer workable. (You can see a photo from the crime scene here.)
So for this week's Beauty Mark It challenge, I'd personally love your ideas for a blow dryer that won't fry hair. It definitely doesn't need to be a fancy one—in fact, a cheap and effective dryer is the best kind!

speaking of blow bryers, i know its weird that my 12 year old brother uses a blow dryer on his hair, but what am i supposed to think when he brings it to church camp with him?
1*dryers
2I'd think that your brother probably wants to dry his hair at camp.
Either that, or
the concept of "roughing it" just doesn't apply to him!
3cute kitty! that's a funny picture..
4that sucks about your hair dryer though
I started out with the T3 travel, too, and the handle broke. I wasn't as careful with it as I should've been. Anyway, though, once you go T3, you can't go back. It's super expensive, but considering that you use it every day or every other, it's totally worth it. I have the full size now and keep it in it's box. I treat it well b/c it makes my life easier.
5that picture is to funny.
6awww, kitty!!
7The kitty is adorable! But I'm sorry he was so mischievous.
8i've never done a beauty mark before, so i'll go and do this one now. cute picture by the way!
9LOL @ the kitty pic
10Haha, love that picture!
11I have some kind of $13 ionic conair that my mom recommended, and I love it. It dries my hair ridiculously fast, and I just figured out that the little button for cool air really DOES help to set the style. I have a perfectly straight bob that I gently curl under, and my dryer does it for me. Personally, I don't even want to know what a $130 hair dryer would do to my hair. Either it would be a waste of money OR it would be an expensive "must-have" for the rest of my life. I'm fascinated by the T3 flat iron though - great for those random unruly days. My officemate has crazy curly/coarse hair, and she can straighten it perfectly.
12hahaha @ kitty!!!
13I have an Ionic blow dryer...I love it. It has the nozzle on the the end that you see the pros using on theirs.
14that kitty is so cute
15I was wondering what is better the T3 or Chi Blowdryers. Since, I am planning on purchasing one of those or anything that compares.
16I received the T# Tourmaline full size as a gift, and adore it. Pets seem to like it too, because my dog ate right through the cord!
BTW, a salesperson at the beauty supply store told me that T3 is better than Chi.
17* I mean T3 not T#
18Vinnie, what is it with pets and the T3 dryers?! Crazy.
And thanks for all the nice comments on wee Milo. Forgive me if I don't pass them on to him; I don't want his already inflated kitty ego to get out of hand.
19FYI, you can gt both the travel size and full size T3 at a snall discount at Overstock.com ($199 & $94.99)
20Oops... I meant small discount
21The Chi Ceramic Ionic blow dryer is AMAZING (sing song). I have thick wavy hair, and it makes it look incredible. It's the same one the Rachel Bilson has recently bought, and her hair has looked fabulous lately
the pink one is cute and chic too
