Back in July, Jessica Alba lightened up her hair from brown with caramel-toned highlights to a somewhat flat blond shade that most of you weren't loving. We've seen the actress go back and forth with various shades of blond and brown before, but to my recollection, we've never seen her go red. Yesterday, after a trip to the salon, Jessica debuted her new red locks. What do you think about the switch? Is it a good one, or do you prefer her with another shade?

Go back to your natural color. It's the only one (in my opinion) that works for her.
I like how she looks with her natural color
Red is so much better than that sh*tty blonde. But Brown tops it all.
She can wear what ever shade she likes. Common lets get real that is Jessica Alba
I DO NOT like the red, but I did not like the blond either. I think she should stick to a light brown. Her olive skin does not work with many hair colors.
Nay for red, yea for brown.
Red is better than blond by about 50%, but she would look gorgeous again with natural brown!
yeah, I agree with everyone.
The red looks better than the blonde. The blonde I hated. I like her brunette the most, but I always like it when a star tries red.
That first pic is horrendous. But yeah we should have a brunette option.
WOW 50/50 vote! any color beats that horrible blonde!
Step up from the blonde, step down from brunette
Agree, better than blonde, but brunette is way better.
I agree with everyone else (it's an improvement but she should really go back to brown)! That red looks the same as Ashlee Simpson.
Yep, it seems the majority vote: go back to your chocolate roots, honey.
that blonde picture is the most unflattering shot of jessica alba, EVER. you cant even see her hair, she looks bald. ekh, bad choice in pictures
Jessica would look beautiful wearing a paper bag, but the red really washes her out.
someone needs to brown bag her cause she is totally losing her looks.
she is probably on her way back to her natural hair color. since her hair was so blonde before, a reddish shade is necessary
What I don't get is why the stylist is willing to do this to her. My stylist tells me when I try and suggest a color or cut that won't work for me, especially if she thinks the color will wash me out or not flatter my skin tone. I'm sure she's paying a fortune to have her hair done - the stylist needs to just tell her to go back to her brown hair.
Like scissorz said, she's probably going back to her natural color. When you bleach your hair, you pull out the red pigment. To go back to brown, you have to add the red back in before you can go brown - hence, the red haircolor.
I agree berri...
Your recollection must not go back too far-- Jessica Alba used to be the L'Oreal Feria spokesperson and she was very red. I like the look on her.
