6I adore Katharine. The Philadelphia Story, The Rainmaker, The African Queen, and On Golden Pond are some of my favorites. I just watched her as Jo in Little Women earlier today. She cracks me up! I've always been a little bit tomboy, so I appreciate that she made it fashionable.
7I always think of her as a strong, glamorous woman with so much class. This first thing I think of is her wearing slacks rather than skirts and dresses before it was trendy. She didn't fit the typical Hollywood Siren mold- and that was just fine!

22katharine was definitely a woman ahead of her time. i've appreciated her timeless beauty and classic style. she often gets overlooked by her famous niece (i think?) Audrey, but Katharine's legacy is one of poise and confidence. even if her contemporaries didn't find her beautiful, she was comfortable and confident enough to continue her own style.
