i love this color..

Am I the only one who thinks the whole "nail polish color trend" thing as of late is dumb?

Like.. if you actually liked those colors before, I think you'd wear them regardless of a trend. However, everyone flocks to those colors like sheep when it becomes "cool." I think it's dumb to succumb to what people in the media are manipulating, especially if the only reason you're doing whatever they're doing is for the sake of it being "in."

I agree with Queencessjosie and I'm wearing purple nail polish because it reminds me of being a teenager, not because a celeb is wearing it.

silver and burgundy polishes are my staple colors. Sometimes blue and gold, but I don't think I'll be rocking the raspberry.

I'm rocking a raspberry, but I have been for awhile now. I just like pink colors on my toes!

Essie is the only polish brand I'll wear anymore. The application and durability can't be beat. I just did a mani/pedi with their Fishnet Stockings (red) and I love it!

It's a little too bright for me. My favorite color for years has been Chanel's Vamp.

i don't like solid colors on my fingers. i'm more of a frech tips girl, but i'd put it on my toes!

I agree about the "trend" annoyance. I've been wearing dark pink on my toes for years.

I just wear a color of polish depending on my mood - not trend

ive loved OPI's yellin for watermelon for a while now, and thats like a red with a hint of pink...I'm not sure how I feel about trends...many people follow hair trends or have bought colored denim b/c its in now, for example, so how/why do nails differ? isn't it all part of one's aesthetic? if we don't follow nail trends then lets get rid of hair and makeup trends too....not going to happen...IMO

I wear whatver nail polish I want-in whatever color I feel like!

In response to Nikkipez, hair and makeup trends are the same case as well. I could care less if it's fall and it's not cool to wear bronzer or whatever. I look the way i want to look.

Hair? People don't always follow those trends, especially if they are either uncomfortable wearing them, or are not sure if they could pull them off. Not everyone is fit for honey-gold highlights and not everyone wants them just because Hilary Duff has them. Myself, I've had my hair naturally black and waist length for the past two years until I chopped 13 inches of it off.

It's okay to want to be new, enterprising, fresh, and unique, as long as your attempts to be so are genuine. There's no such thing as antiquated style, unless you're stuck dressing like folks did in the 1800s. As a matter of fact, what if they bring that style back? Would you wear those things then?

I think most of BellaSugar's readers wouldn't run out to dye their hair pink if half the celebrity population did.

I'm sticking with my white nail polish.

Gee... maybe with a few lines of some controlled substance, I'll think the orange skin, bleached to straw locks look good too...

I love that color. But not because it's a "trend" and no way, I don't want short stubby nails because that's in.

I love nail polish period. It's pretty much the only really girly thing about me. So I welcome all the colors. Raspberry, I welcome you.

Hahaha! I'm with you on this one... I wouldn't consider those colors 'raspberry' per se - they're more like fuschia, and also remind me of the 80s. I suppose it might look good with the right skin tone, but it doesn't work for everybody (including me). I would think raspberry is more like a deep red with a tinge of pink in it.... like a real raspberry is.

i LOVE Essie too! Sassette, Fishnet Stockings is great for a pedi! love it. right now i'm wearing Garnet on my toes.

i love pedicures, not so much manis, so especially since it's summer...i've been more into wearing polish. i love wearing sandals and in Cali, we can wear them pretty much ALL year. i'm not following the trend, although i'm noticing it on the Sugar sites more and more. just like Bella, i love Essie because it's durable. has anyone tried the 'To Dry For' topcoat? it is AMAZING. it dries every coat of polish and leaves a beautiful shine and has a tough-as-nails sealant that you will NOT smudge your nails. the worst you can do is chip your polish off and it would take some real effort to do so.

i love my essie in dark espresso brown! I haven't seen anyone sportin brown nail polish, but I promise the dark shades are just lovely on nails!

I too love OPI's Yellin' for watermelon polish. SUCH a beautiful colour. am wearing now and couldn't care less that LL is a fan.

in Romania u really cannot find brands like Jessica or Essie, and OPI it may get a little too expensive.. i love the colour tho, so i mixed up a cotton candy colour nail polish with a cherry red... TOTALLY love it! suits well with my skin tone, and that way you can have a personalized shade, it's your choice of intensity, tone... kewl.

My nail polish colors riht now are purple and gold and I love them, but this raspberry color is really pretty too.

I love the color! I usually have a french mani and strawberry margarita(opi) on my toes . I rarely put color on my finger nails,and if I do, it's just the tips of my nails.

The Essie one is gorgeous. I love pink nails. It's so fun.

essie polish is fantastic! i'm not a summer girl, so i simply can't wait for cooler weather to start sportin' "wicked" again. until then, i've got "cabi-au-lait" on my fingers (it's a great pale pink on my skintone), and "bordeaux" on my toes.

I loooooooove pinks and red on my toes too. I just tried a french on my feet for the rest of the summer and I love the way it looks and how long it lasts.

Essie is the best nailpolish brand, period! I hardly wear anything else, everytime i get a mani/pedi i buy the color so I never have to wait to use it when i get to the salon...the color selection is amazing! if i digress away from essie, its usually only to lancome or chanel...

I like Sally Hansen,usually stick to it's "Hard as Nails" line,pink tint.

Yeah, trends are lame. I use whatever i like. I would hate to fit in. Yaaaaawwwnnnn.
