Bobbi Brown has just released another limited-edition product for fall 2007 in bold metallic colors. The line, appropriately named The Metallics Collection, consists of four velvety-soft, highly pigmented shimmer eye shadow palettes in Midnight (blues), Forest (greens), Velvet Plum (purples) and Burnt Sugar (neutrals). Each palette ($45) contains three complementary shadows intended to highlight and accentuate your eyes.
The shadows are easily blendable, long-wearing and will stay crease-free all day. The powders are so finely milled that they actually feel like cream shadows. And as usual when it comes to Bobbi Brown, the colors are flattering on women of different ages—you could wear this on the first day of school, whether you're in high school or you're dropping off your little one at pre-school.

Hm, I really love bobbi brown but i dunno about these... I'm not so impressed for $45.
5Bobbi Brown is a woman (for the first person who posted that "his" daughter goes to your school)!
I have been waiting for these to come out, but ohmygah, where do they get these prices?! That makes MAC look inexpensive. I really wanted the forest palette but I'm not so sure for that price.
6typos happen, its not like i ws using all my brain power on a silly bellasugar comment
7i have this!!! i got the plums and these shadows are REALLY nice!
8forgot to add the the "plums" are really more greyish and brownish
9eh, i checked them out and they're nice, but i'm not about to shell out $45 for three little shadows.
10i hadn't even realized they were 45$!!! woops
11BBBBEEEEAAAAAAUUUUUTTTTTTIIIIIFFFFUUULLLLL!!!
MUST GET!
12MUST GET!
YIPPY!!!
I dunno is it just me that thinks that too much of a good thing is a bad thing?? A little metallic on the lid or high-lighting the brow bone would be elegant but put this with the "chain fringe" trend and the shiny silky fabrics that we are seeing and it could be too much...blech!!
13I love the gorgeous metallics in this. Amazing!
14whats best about them is that if you use just a little its not very sparkly but u can layer and increase the sparkle...so its very versatile...i LOVE the plum quad I got...highly recommended
15I, too, love the Plum trio, which was a surprise for me, as I am definitely more of a neutral gal (I've never even had a plum shadow).
The plum trio seems to have more brown in it than plum, so if you're looking for true purple in this, look elsewhere.
The Burnt Sugar quad, which I thought was a sure thing, ended up going back to the store, as the deeper shades had the tiniest hint of olive in them, which I can't wear no matter what. Gorgeous shades, however!
16LOVE these.
17ooooo, love the colours.
18oooo, yummy!
