For those of you who have been skimming over my blue makeup posts because you don't think blue makeup is for you, I encourage you to experiment with ceruleans, sapphires and indigos. All of those shades of amazing azures are very "in" for Fall.
Your best bet is to choose colors that contrast the iris of your eye to make them look more vibrant. The blue makeup spectrum ranges from pale pastels to electric brights, so there is definitely something out there for everyone to fancy! Check out my eight-post round up below on bright blue beauty for some great new hues. For more tips on how to wear blue makeup, click here!

Pop Beauty's Blue Eyes eye cake is a great way to get into blue. It has wheats and nudes plus a midnight blue that you can use as a liner. I was afraid of blues til I tried that.
1I love blue eyeshadow! I think the trick is not going too pale, because then it just looks like bad 80's makeup. I lovvvve MAC - Tilt. It's my favorite blue eyeshadow!
2I have muted blue-green eyes, and most blue eyeshadows make my eyes look muddy by comparison. Origins has an eyeshadow called "blue moon", a medium blue with a gold iridescence -- I use it on the outer corner or sometimes as a lower rim liner -- that makes my eyes look really blue!
3If you wear blue like the woman's picture above, I use a lighter lipstick, she looks like a clown
4I'm not so sure about the Clown... but she's a dead-ringer for one of the Joker's girls in the 80's Batman movie.
5I love it; blue is fabulous this season!!

6I like wearing silvery or greenish blues IN MODERATION- I have grey-blue eyes and it makes them pop.
7I have blue eyes. I found a perfect eyeshadow to match. The trick is to do a single line when it matches your eyes. I line with silver and go over it with the turquoise eyeshadow. I curl and mascara my lashes, and it looks hot all day.
8That model does look loke Mimi from the Drew Carey Show. THAT is the look to avoid. Subtelty is the best way to go. Don't overkill a perfectly good look.
