We all know that matte nail polish is hot these days, and it's definitely one of those textures that either you love or you hate. Matte, which has a no-shine, flat appearance, is great for an edgy style, but it has a tendency to chip. The great thing about polish in general, besides the abundance of shade choices, is the finish. Tell me your favorite.

2Shimmer or Cream. Anything that is forgiving for not-so-perfect paint jobs on the right hand.
3^^HA! I agree with that. I have gotten a lot better using my left hand to paint, but it's still hard.

6Cream or shimmer if I'm going out. Haven't tried matte finish yet but I've heard it's tough to get it to look right.
7mek123 - it is a pain in the butt to use. I suggest using a regular nail polish with a matte top coat.
8I like them all it really depends. What i don't like about nail polish lately is how the new shades for fall this year include neons...that is not cozy and screams "summer" to me. I will be sticking to my deep reds, wines, plums, berries, golds, etc. which are cozy and the perfect fit for fall.

I feel like matte nail polish completely goes against the purpose of wearing nail polish. Glitter nail polish reminds me of tweens. Some shimmer can be pretty, and chic. Opaque/iridescent can be nice but I don't have a huge collection of these.

12I don't like matte polish. It looks like something has crusted on the nails. Yuck!
Otherwise I like and own all of the other finishes.

Jelly is my favorite consistency. There a only a handful of them out there so it is really a treat when i find one.
My favorite color of all time and it will be forever is Illamasqua's Rampage, it looks like green glass!!! so beautiful.
15Cream, most definitely. They usually look more flattering on me. I do own shimmers though.
