Today is a very big day for the mane man, celebrity hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai, for it is the opening day of his brand new Melrose Place Salon. The chic 1,400-square foot space is more of an intimate retreat than his first California salon located in Beverly Hills. It is a large, open space with a loft-like, modern feel made up of chocolate brown leather banquettes, soft and fluffy pillows and nickel lamps.
There is also a fab outdoor terrace lined with banquettes so clients can relish in the California sun while being pampered with hand and foot treatments while having a snack or a cocktail. The salon offers hair styling and coloring along with manicures, brow treatments, pedicures, and make-up applications. The location, a second floor studio atop a Spanish style building, was chosen for its privacy and charming location on a tree-lined street.
If you plan on checking out some of the coolest coiffs in Hollywood, go to 8457 Melrose Place. It is open six days a week (sorry, no Sundays) to accommodate the full lives of LA's busiest Bella Donnas. In a recent press release, Frédéric Fekkai, Founder and President of Frédéric Fekkai & Co said,
"Southern California is developing into micro communities, and we want to be in all the places where our clients reside. I have always been a fan of the antiques shops along Melrose Place. Now it’s also shaping up to be the most coveted spot for ready-to-wear and accessories and, naturally, for our style-savvy clientele. I’m delighted to add Fekkai to that mix.”
