I used to always buy my mom really great beauty products that were perfect for her. (Such as items of mine that she tried and loved.) But then I would notice that she never used them - 6 months later that spa foot set I got her went unused, or those fab lotions that she would never spend the money on even though she loves them, never got used.
I asked her about it and she always said she was saving them for a special occassion and didn't want to waste them on ordinary days. Drives me insane - I can buy her all her favorite estee lauder facial products and yet she'll continue using her Noxema as both her facial scrub and moisturizer. I feel bad - I want to get her luxury items but alas my mom is a simple kind of gal.
