It is actually illegal to do lash tints in Massachusetts. I think this happened around 10 years ago and I am sure there are safer better products out there now. I've always been curious to try it.
The Refectocil they use in the video is the same brand I buy at the drugstore here (in Austria) and it works really well and comes in several shades. I usually do it myself but the only problem with doing it yourself is that you can only do one eye at a time and it can get a little tricky. I've ended up with it smudging into my eyes a couple times and it REALLY stings.
Wow, the results are pretty amazing! My friend actually passed out when she was getting it done at Benefit a while back. Not from the pain, she just got woozy from sitting there with her eyes closed.
i want to do this so bad! my eyelashes are long, but get progressively lighter towards the tips. It would be nice to not use mascara on lazy days.
Please - make sure you go somewhere reputable. I have this done as my eyelashes are transparent/blonde, and it's great. No more invisible eyelashes falling in my eyes and impossible to find! But scary chemicals near eyes - you need to be CAREFUL.
