Halfway through Fashion Week, I think it's safe to say that the big makeup trend for spring... isn't one. By this I mean that makeup artists were sending models down the runways with barely-there makeup. (In some cases, they were completely free of mascara!) We saw it as shows such as Alexander Wang, Y&Kei, and Josh Goot. And after last night, we can add Doo.Ri , Jovovich-Hawk and Sari Gueron to the makeup "nudists."

To translate this look from runways to regular life, look for products with a hint of tint. That means tinted moisturizers, tinted lip balms, and maybe the sheerest pink lip gloss. Of course, with so much skin showing, you'll want to get your complexion in tip-top shape. I know, I know—easier said than done—but there's plenty of time between now and next spring, right? It's really pretty if you have a clear complexion. Then again, I think the barely there look is what most women use on a regular basis, so it's kinda cool to see it on the runway too.
1a fabulous invention--2 products in one--would love to have!!!
2i like barely there makeup and glad to see it on the runways
3its much better than caked on makeup
I dunno.. whenever I go for the "no makeup" look, I always look like I got about 20 mins of sleep the night before!
4My look varies. When I used to have class in the afternoon I would go all out _(by all out I mean mascara, eyeliner, sometimes blush, sometimes brown or beige eyeshadow and lipgloss and powder), although sometimes I would just go with eyeliner powder and lip balm.
5Now that I have class in the morning at 7 am, I just do powder and concealer and some chapstick. And I'll go all day like that. Then again I have pretty good skin and eyelashes so I've never been crazy about mascara.
yea au natural..i prefer...
6Fantastic! I love barely-there make-up; everyone is much too overdone these days. I'm glad to see the runways are finally starting to show some real(ish) beauty!
7I like it.
8I can't do that though because of my sun damage!
Rats!
9Yuck. Personally I like to see at least a hint of color on the face. Even some pinky blush and gloss would look better than nothing.
10i think its nice..but only for some girls, like the girl in the first picture looks nice, but some people like the girl in the middle just need a little lift with mascara or something.
11I like the idea
12Yes! I hardly ever wear makeup, so I think this is a good thing - especially for little girls that copy all the stuff they see in magazines.
13LUV IT !!
14I'm glad they are doing something realistic for the runway.
15Yeah, and how many women have flawless complexions naturally? Yuck.
16haha yeah you have to have flawless skin to begin with to pull it off, and models have to have flawless skin otherwise they wouldnt be models.
17My favorite look. A little sheer foundation to even out skin tone, a smidge of lip color and Burts Bees balm, and just enough mascara so that you can see that I have lashes.
18The girl on the far right looks like a ghost. That's about what I look like in the morning. Just a little mascara and blush does it. Certain skin tones carry this off better than others.
19I like the natural look.
20tats cool.
21I couldn't really pull off this look. Yeah, I'm that vain. :[
I have acne that I'm quite self-conscious about, and I don't really wanna show that off to the world. I use mineral makeup from Meow to cover it, so I suppose there's no harm in that.
Oh and..I think I look dead without any eye makeup. However, if I'm just running errands, I'll do without.
