With Britney's big comeback performance opening the show, we can honestly say this is the most excited we've been about the VMAs in years! She's not all, of course - the show will be chock full of performances, appearances, and fingers crossed a few unexpected twists (which hopefully wasn't supposed to be Christina's pregnancy announcement). 11She sucks.....I know people are gonna overhype what would normally be considered average if it were a different performer. Somehow her best, which is other people's average, is still considered talent and actually bankable?? Wake up world..put your support behind true talents of the music industry!! There is sure to be a lot of grand stage props/light and fire displays/special effects (enter Criss Angel), etc to make it seem all grand..basically a lot of good distraction that puts less pressure on Britney..who will prob just have to dance and lipsynch. The reason why I don't like her and her music is that as much as it sucks, she still gets famous..and it's not even her contribution overall..people like the beats, etc but actually NONE of that is from her own end..it's the people that are hired to do those things. Can you tell I can't stand her?

18I normally end up enjoying the preshow with looking at the fashions more than the show itself but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Brit perform. She has always been a good performer and I'm hoping she can pull her life together!

22No tralalala you are not the only one. I know its mean to wish bad things on people, and usually I wouldn't but Britney is really messed up and if she does well she'll just get even more messed up along the way. I feel mostly that I really don't care if she does well or not.

42That was the most horrifying thing i have ever seen! Its like she wasnt even trying! Either that or her footwear hindered her in some way, her face looked like she smelled something stinky. That was painful to watch!
43seriously she wasn't even trying ... the outfit, first of all! I mean, remember when it was shocking when she "stripped" to that flesh-tone number for Oops? The lip-syncing was horrendous, and the dancing was so half-assed it wasn't even funny. I could tell by Diddy's/50 Cent's expressions that they were unimpressed, as they should be. Seriously, she sucked hardcore. Oh, and please don't get me started on the hair. YIKES.

45re: britney's "performance" - the first words out of my mouth were "that's it?" That was the most lackluster performance I have ever seen...lip syncing galore and totally not into it at ALL.

49I am glad it's not just me that was horrified. I am thinking it's the boots, but shouldn't she have practiced walking & dancing in them first? Or was she on something? She looked like a deer caught in headlights. Poor thing, I almost feel for her.
