Lauren Conrad decided to trade in her nude lips for some red-hot red lipstick last night at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Whether or not you're a fan of LC's loud lip look, you certainly can't deny that her eyes look pretty darn amazing! So if you had to choose, would you say that she looks better in light or bright lipstick?

Normally I go for the nude lip but not when it's the same color as your skin. I think the red looks awesome

10Part of the problem is the selection of both these shades... there are probably more flattering nude and red choices for her. That said, I like both looks- but I think the red would have looked better if she'd toned down the eyeliner. Red lips demand balance. You can't get away with both unless you're doing a B&W/40's glam photo shoot.

17i'm so freaking tired of hearing about lauren conrad. she doesn't "DO" anything, she's famous for nothing. In my book, she's completely worthless and is part of the downfall of our society. Worst of all, she's not even pretty. at least kristen cavallari was semi-decent looking. Audrina looks like a big- toothed, fat faced chipmunk. IS THIS REALLY WHAT WE WANT OUR CHILDREN TO ASPIRE TO????

29The red seems a bit too much on her, so I say nude works better for her. She still looks great in both of those pictures though.

i don't think lauren has enough strong facial bone structure to support bold red lips...but that's just my opinion. i'm not really into red lipstick and think a person needs to have some really striking angles in their face to pull it off. don't get me wrong, lc is pretty cute. the nude lip is just much better on her.

48Hmm, she needs some pink lipstick. Maybe some gloss over it. It really looks good on everyone. That red is too dark, there's something I don't like about tanned skin wearing the wrong shade.
