Another day, another fragrance ad that's bound to ruffle a few feathers. Yesterday, it was Tom Ford's crotchtastic photo and now it's Diddy's commercial. MTV has deemed his spot for Unforgivable Woman too racy to air. But he refuses to edit it, so now it's online. It's supposed to be sexy, but to me, it seems more cheesy than anything else. 1What exactly are we banning? That is mild compared to some of the other stuff I've seen, but then again that could be because I work in the Ad industry.
I thought it was corny especially the way he kept eyeing the camera.
2I said Hate It not because I think its too racy I agree with afrochic we've seen worse. But this was just a cheesetastic cheesefest...incredible teh way he keeps looking at the cam, lets just say thak god he hast done a movie.
3Not to mention the "incoherence" and pointlessness of those scenes in the hallway.

4That might've been one of the stupidest commercials I have ever seen. I am not sure who they are trying to make buy perfume...that was the point of the commercial wasnt it?
5Maybe it was an ad for what a dork you are if you can't leave your sunglasses at home while you're in a dark bar - more skin than needed but it wasn't particularly sexy or risque.

Even though this commercial seems corny to me, you've gotta admit, Diddy has a good mind for business. He'll get more attention because of MTV's ban than he would otherwise!
9Long, boring, awkward, weird music... and the last bit with all the flashes gave me a headache.

12I agree it was definitely long, boring, and very awkward. I think they were trying so hard to be sexy and risque that it just looked lame. I hated the scenes that kept flashing on and off of him attempting to pull her underwear down. And to me the commercial was more about Puffy than the woman, I mean is he going to wear the perfume? No, so he should have made the woman look more in control and badass, in the Unforgiveable man commerical he was the badboy with 2 women in his bed, so I think the woman should have made him fall in love with her and then left him, so at least it would have made sense.
But nontheless I thought that the men's cologne smelled great it was actually one that women could pull off because it was citrusy so I'd love to smell this and maybe even buy it.

38Who made this commercial - a 15-year old boy? It is so tacky and cheesy. What's it even about? It reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer makes a commercial for his Mr. Plow business, and it's all faux artsy and weird and doesn't relate at all to the product. Hahaha!

40pretty cheesey alright, as well as degrading to women. It IS boring, you're so right Happy Jenny! I just feel like the woman in it so doesn't want to be there. 44i dont even think that was racy... i actually thought it was bland. they both seem bored and indifferent and they do not have any chemistry together. if they would have had electricity between them, they wouldnt have had to been half naked and it still would have been much much sexier. i also thought it was way too much of the same thing over and over.

48Way too long. Doesn't really represent the name, I was waiting and waiting for the "Unforgivable Woman" to step in. And with Diddy looking into the camera every 10 seconds.. Blah. I wouldn't watch the commercial on tv, so I think it's good for us and for Diddy that they didn't air this. Two thumbs down from me too.
