they all look fantastic with the nude lip but i wonder if it gets really nasty looking up close and in person...

I'm not a fan of the nude lip if it requires a nude colored lipstick. But I like lips left their natural color with a slick of chapstick or something to keep them from looking dry.
Vanessa looks the most natural to me.

I think Debra looked best, though it was a tough call between her & Vanessa.

I like it on Debra messing for several reasons, the strongest one being she's got lots of color elsewhere so she doesn't look totally washed out like Rebecca Romijn (in my opinion). If you have rich hair and smoky/colored eye makeup I think it's okay, but RR looks not so good, again in my opinion. Vanessa Williams looks good too, but not as good as the fiery red head.

Debra's doesn't look chalky to me, it looks like her natural skin color. The other two I don't like at all.

I'd rather wear no lipstick at all (or gloss or anything), than go for a chalky lip. Who wants to look like they just kissed a blackboard?

BellaSugar, what kind of lipstick brand would you reccommend to recreate this chalky lip??? I've been looking for one and I can't find something that looks quite chalky.

Debra's is the nicest here. not too pale, and just matte enough. Everyone should try out MAC lipstick, Fleshpot. It has that chalky nude effect.

Debra looks great. Vanessa's blends in with her skin tone too much, imo.

I don't like the chalky lips at all. I noticed it in InStyle yesterday and immediately wondered if some of the celebs showed up feeling ill.

I didn't realize I was trendy. This is how I look most days if, between dressing my toddler and packing lunches, I even get to put on a lip treatment! Go figure.

Then again... could someone please suggest me a lipstick and shade which looks this way? I do have lots of nude coloured lipsticks, matte, but they are all creamy... Rouge Interdit being my bi big favorite.
