Sorry but I think it looks sort of trashy. The girls that I knew growing up who were trashy had their hair dyed the same way.

I understand that sometimes you might want to add in a few lowlights (especially if you're very blonde and want to tone it down a bit) - but lowlights shouldn't take on a life of their own!!!
