My mother had it when I was a child .. man i couldn't keep my hands off of it.

My Mom finally got herself a bottle after wanting it for years.

that was an easy one i love all of the potions in the picture, each is a unique and well crafted masterpiece, and the oldest of the bunch wins: chanel no. 5 dates back to 1921, opium was crafted in 1977 and coco in 1984 and obsession 1985.

I think it stinks too. People just want it because it seems money. But I think for younger women, it's too mature of a scent. Actually, it's just gross.

I never liked it as a kid, then I put it on myskef and it dried and smelled so clean and powdery, I feel in love...I also love Chance, its amazing

Yay! I love Chanel No. 5. It was what my grandmother wore, so I never wear it, but the smell reminds me of her.

Madamoiselle is delicious No. 5 reeks

Yeah I don't like it either. I usually don't like strong scents like that, I go for frsher lighter, sometimes citrusy scents.
I'm young, I go about day by day fighting wrinkles and trying to prevent aging, why do all that and then spray No.5 on yourself to MAKE yourself smell old?

I got it! I personally do not like the scent, I prefer Chanel Chance and Mademoiselle. But to each his own.

I just bought Allure by Chanel and I LOVE it!

Anyway, no 5 is one of those scents that smells awful on some people, and great on others. It's a chemistry thing I guess

I guess it is the best selling perfume in the period 1921 - 2007, but I do not believe that it is still among the top ten best selling perfumes in the world right now. It sounds like a sales gimmick more tha anything else.
Personally, I do not know anybody who still wears Chanel no 5, apart from old ladies. Coco and Mademoiselle are far more popular among all age groups.

I dont' think I am a fan... I believe someone in my family had this when I was younger. But I am not 100%
