After playing with my new Miss Popularity ($24) from Benefit, I found myself completely surprised by the product. For some reason I thought it was a liquid, but it's actually a very fine powder applied with a wide sponge tip.
The color is a pure transparent shimmer. It comes out of the bottle looking white, but on your skin it has flecks of silver, gold and iridescent pink. I will say that the formula blends really well and the applicator tip is nearly perfect for acing that little inner corner "V" in your eyes, but why does it have to be so big?
I found that I had to transfer it to a smaller, thinner makeup brush so I didn't look like I had just spread fairy dust all over my eyes. Having said that, the product itself is great. The powder is smooth, and the color is unuusal and not too over-the-top glittery.
I can see Miss Popularity being a big hit for a night out and for the holiday season, but not for everyday wear. Have any of you tried it? If so, please share your thoughts with me in a comment below.

Ok, I totally thought this was a liquid as well! I am interested in this product, but I'm not sure how much I would use it. Glad too hear it's not too super glittery though. Plus I have mixed feelings on a lot of Benefit products. I may give it a try, for some special night.
1I agree Francesca..
Bella, can't you use this on other regions aside from eyes..like to accentuate bustline or something? or was that another product? did you try it only on your eyes? bummer that the applicator is too large
2Love it
3Yes, you can use it on your decolletage, and I think it might look nice on the clavicle as well.
4wow... I totally want to try that.
5seems like a really cool product.
6Looks like something I would like
7looks cool, shame they don't have it here
8fairy dust, you call it!
9OMG GOTTA HAVE IT!
it does look really cool, but for everyday use, i think i'll stick with benefit high-beam
10it's it shimmer for face and body?? by the review it seem intersting .....
11i totally wanna try it, but the thought of it being for your face and body makes it a lil iffy.
12I want to try this I have been looking for a highlighter that doesn't have too much shimmer in it.
13It sounds like the Laura Gellar Magic Wand that I just purchased. I really like it, I use it mostly on my eyes and it does a great job brightening!
14I need to get me some of that....
15I haven't tried it, but I looked at it recently at Macy's...I also thought it was a liquid-to-powder formula. It sounds pretty, but I hate when eyeshadow is too glittery and you end up with sparkles all over your cheeks an hour after you apply it. I'm afraid this would happen with this product??
Not sure if I'll be buying it, although I love Benefit's products...
16For this kind of effect I use my MAC mineralize skin finish(es), like lightscapade, or my NARS the multiple in Copacabana. They both work like a dream! For the little V's for the corner of my eyes I just use pearl eyeliner pencil. Japanese brands are especially good when it comes to eye products. Like Shu Uemura or Kate, although US brands are also awesome!
17Bought this and haven't use it yet...
