if my bf ever shaved his beard, i would not be able to look at him until he grew at least a little stub back. i'd still love him, of course, just not as much.

every man looks better with at least some sort of facial hair, as long as it's not a poop-stache or an overtly grizzled beard. what can i say? i like my men hairy.

Oh ick, I HATE scruff. Clean shaven, only. I expect myself to look fully finished and put-together when I leave the house in the morning, and I would expect the same from the man in my life.

I don't think these two are butch enough for facial hair. I never used to like ANY facial hair until Devendra Banhart and the freak-folk folks came along and revived the mountain man hippie look. Now I'm about extremes. Either totally clean-cut, or Unabomber. And nothing in between.

I am a big fan of beards. Not stubble, because that begets razor burn, but soft beards. My boyfriend alternates between a bare face and a big beard, and he looks like two totally different people. It's fun, in the same way girls can change their hair and makeup.

I like it somewhere in between scruffy and clean shaven. I like it stubbly. My husband and best male friend have such baby faces that they look 12 if they have no facial hair. They both look waaaaay better with it. No ZZTop beards though, that is just plain ugly unless you're trying to keep warm.

I prefer clean shaven. I've only dated one guy with soft scruff. That was the only time it was ok. It's not about how it looks for me it's about how it feels.

my bf looks sooooo sexy with a lil scruff XD I love it. At first when he was growing it out for me, all of our friends made fun of him and hated it- told him he looked dirty...But I LOVED it, so he kept it for me.

Now everyone is used to it and tells him he looks weird when he shaves it off (to clean up and let it grow out nice again)
