Vinotherapy is a term coined by Caudalie founders Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas. It's the process of pampering your skin with products made from grade seeds and grape skins. Grape Seed strengthens blood vessels as well as contains polyphenols (antioxidants that combat free radicals).
Other properties of vinotherapy include reservatol, which promotes skin cell renewal and viniferine, an ingredient that reduces dark (liver or sun) spots. Here are a couple of products from the Caudalie product range that contain vinotherapeutic properties. The best part is that there's no hangover whatsoever!
Caudalie Sauvignon Scrub ($35) is a soft, whipped, creamy scrub that smells like grapefruit, essential oils and honey. It provides a matte finish. It's great for sensitive skin (since the formula is very gentle) and it is safe for both the body and the face. Use up to twice a week on wet skin for a buffed, silky smooth and glowing complexion.

Merlot Shower Gel ($19) is a skin-softening body cleanser that leaves a gentle smell of blackberry, blackcurrant leaf, tarragon and fresh bergamot behind. It is paraben-free, phenoxyethanol-free and soap-free, so it won't irritate sensitive skin.

I bet that shower gel is just to die for! That's why it's $19!!!
1Ooooh, that shower gel sounds incredible!
2OOhhh!! It does sound great!
3a spa here in my city, does a full body scrub with Vinotherapy
i need to try it, those grapes have great properties for the skin
and sounds nice being rubbed with WINE LOL
4As great as it sounds I find it easier and cheaper to just take a grapeseed supplement
5I want that Body Scrub!
Bella are you or have you tried any of these products yet?
6I have tried their vinoperfect radiance serum and it is the bomb! I cannot believe how fast my wrinkles have decreased around my eyes. It is very gentle on the skin. Great brand & great recommendation!
7I am addicted to the Caudalie product line after reading Bella's rave reviews this past summer. I use the Cabernet shower gel, body lotion, Instant Foaming Cleanser for face and body scrubs. Have even given Caudalie for b.day presents.
8I went on my honeymoon this past June - and my husband and I stayed at the Kenwood Inn and Spa (which is the only Caudalie Vinotherapy spa in the U.S.). I've been addicted to the products ever since. The shower gels smell heavenly (and remind me of my fantastic honeymoon)...but my favorite Caudalie products are their body scrubs. There are three: Savignon is for sensitive areas, like the face; Crshed Cabernet is great for cellulite; and Merot Friction is wonderful for firming. Sephora sells a Caudalie 'scrub trio' for $32. I have it and highly recommend.
9expensive!
10Wow! That looks great! I have only used Caudalie products in the past but never a shower gel! Hope I win it!
11just take sugar (different types of sugar for different skin types), mix with a little bit of grape seed oil (like, $5 for a big bottle), add your favorite essential oil, and a splash of wine, and you have the same thing, only cheaper and with 0 chemicals. Trust me, it's fantastic!
12I love Caudalie stuff, but it's so expensive!
13coool jar.
