French women are in a constant search for flawless, perfect skin. Some view aging as a a four-letter word and will do everything in their power to seek out preventative, anti-aging treatments. The French describe American women as “vulgaire” for our heavy makeup and cosmetic surgeries and scoff at young Hollywood celebs that prance around with fake tans and fake hair extensions.
In France, if you have the slightest skin condition (anything from eczema to acne) your medical bills for "treatments" can be covered up to as much as 65%. In my recent research there is one thing I've learned about French beauty — despite all of the gorgeous makeup and clothing that hails from France, a glowing complexion is the is the most coveted accessory!
Carita Pearl of Youth Cream ($214) is an anti-aging skincare product that firms, tones, smooths and protects skin from environmental damages that cause premature aging. With continued use, skin should become softer and lines will look more refined. Use one pump on a cleansed skin in the morning and gently massage into the face and neck using moderate pressure.

I need to move to France for the medical care...
1I could never see myself paying that much! 214 dollars! Eek. I noticed the other day that Walgreens is starting to sell beauty products from other parts of the world for a lot cheaper. I think the most expensive stuff I saw was no more than 30 dollars. I'd be more inclined to try the cheaper stuff before I shell out that much money for cream.
2Damn, I'm grabbing my passport and I'm moving to France to get some medical care. Or at least clear up my skin.
3It sounds like France has the right idea. Natural is more beautiful, no?
4Umm... you should have included Darphin (aka the best products on earth). I am really addicted to the stuff!
5yes karisaamy! let's go! you know that stuff is not covered here in the US and it takes ages just to see a Dermatologist
6The best for me is La Roche Posey
Fragrance free, and incredible to the skin, keeps my skin glowing
7Woo-hoo $214 buckaroos!
That would be sweet!
8I wish my medical expenses for my skin were covered
for my sensitive skin, Avène makes miracles.
9I'm from Spain and the plastic surgery craze has exploded. Everyone is getting something done and no one on TV looks the same way they came to this world. I like that the French women value their skin care and natural beauty and prefer not to take the "fake" approach.
10I am going to need that Decelor stuff stat. My skin is so dry that it peels off my face. I hate it. I do everything that my dr says and its still super dry.
