I think almost everything from Italy is romantic: the fragrances, the language, the makeup, the men (!), and the skin care. Fresh Italian ingredients such as virgin olive oil, grapefruit, and neroli are often used in beauty products, especially in fragrances. Italians once believed that aside from a wonderful smell, colognes also helped protect you from disease and harm. So it's no wonder that so many of the famous Italian fashion houses (Bulgari, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana...) all have their own fragrances. Here are a few examples of sensational and sweet-smelling Italian beauty products.
Pupa Cosmetics is a Milanese makeup company with chic, compact, rounded packaging and a light and fresh aromatic essence to its products. They are known for their bright colors that work on the runway or red carpet. You can now buy Pupa in more 70 countries, and some products are on sale at Amazon.com.

Incanto Charms by Ferragamo ($77 for a 3.4 oz bottle) is an exotic essence of Italian fruits and flowers—namely passion fruit, honeysuckle, ottoman rose and jasmine. The scent makes you feel just as sexy as if a gorgeous Italian man whispered the word "bella" in your ear!
Clèo Body Cream ($6.76) is a star product in this yogurt-based cult brand. Fortunately, it's just arrived in the US! The lactic acid in yogurt soothes, softens and tightens skin. Plus, the fast-absordbbing cream smells delicious, and it's ideal for dry skin.

Pupa's products are very high quality, too (the ones I've tried, at least).
1That's insane, I love it!
2EW! How ridiculous! That thing would be a giant waste of space...but I like the yogurt cream!
3Ahhh yes! Italy had some SWEET ASS things when I was there. I just wish I was richer and could have bought some of them!
4Pupa's products come in the cutest cases!
5I love love pupa. I just have to many makeup by them
6My favorite Italian product is the Missoni fragrance.
That yogurt cream sounds interesting.
7I am actually wearing Incanto Charm by Ferragmo as I type!!! I absolutely love this fragrance...as well as Incanto Dream and Incanto Shine!!! I get compliments all the time.
8I'm a proponent of Pupa products, they're wonderful. I still have a little bit of a sparkly loose eyeshadow left that I purchased in Rome in 2000. Bravissima!
9And here it is, POLVERE DI LUCE DUO, they still carry it! I have the nude color combination.

10Oh I'd love to try some Italian cosmetics.
11When first started wearing makeup my mom would buy me the little compact kits from Pupa. Those always had such fun colors.
12OMG I WANT ITTTT
13Pupa stuff is so fun. I send Pupa compact cards to my BFFs sometimes. I didn't realize you could get it in the US now. guess I'll have to find something else for little thoughts.
14I love the Ferragamo bottle...
I've also heard of Pupa cosmetics
The cream I want to get..where can I get it???
15I used Pupa when I was 16 cause the colors were fresh.. I need to revisit those days!! Totally trying Pupa again.
16Pupa cosmetics are a bit cheap, sort of like the Italian version of Rimmel or Maybelline. I love using L'erbolario products for my hair and body, plus their products are plant-based and natural.
17i thought yogurt was only good as a mask (ie. short amt. of time)?
18I was in Italy this summer... It was a beautiful place to shop... The best beauty thing that i bought over there was MARVIS tothpaste. I stocked up because it was 3euro a tube in taly, and it is $15 here in Canada!
19I love Pupa, the quality of the products is great
