Although this lipstick range is part of the Fall 2007 Play In The Darks collection by Clinique, that I told you about in late July, these three new shades of Almost Lipstick struck a chord when I realized that they are renditions of the ever-popular cult favorite Black Honey Almost Lipstick. At first I thought there was just one new version out called Black Plum, but I have recently learned about two more shades in Black Raspberry (bright, sheer pink) and Black Raisin (deep wine).
There's a reason I am so excited. These aren't just any lipsticks, they could arguably be some of the best lipsticks ever created. They look intimidatingly dark in the tube, but they glide on smooth and the result is a shiny, sheer and clean stain-like finish.
The shades are universally flattering (I swear, they really are) and one of these skinny tubes is packed with color that will last you a long, long time. Each of the colors are sold separately for $14. How do you feel about these new versions of Black Honey being added to the elite Almost Lipstick sisterhood?

3thes have been out for a while. I tried them all on about 2 months ago. All very pretty and I couldn't decide. I think black raisin was the best for my tone.

5I used to wear black honey- I got so many compliments on the shade, I even gave a tube away right out of my purse... Forgot about the shade until recently someone came up to me and asked about the color I used when I made them up ( 3-4 yrs ago!!!!)and what the name was they were trying to find it!?! I so can't wait to get it and her sisters!

9I am wary of dark lipsticks as I have full lips and therefore dark shadows under and above my lips, I like the idea of the colors being smooth and shiny and not gothic dark. The color idea seem amazing with the variances in tone and the casing is appealing too because it is in a slim, easy to carry portable container rather than bulky tubes. Great product.
10i love black honey! everytime i wear it i get compliments. i actually should wear it more often come to think of it. ill definitely be looking into these two need shades...one can never have too much lipstick! especially when its this good!!!

18Black Honey was one of my first shades too! And it looks so deceiving in the container, you'd think it would be so dark, but once it's on it looks like you've eaten a bunch of berries. I love that there are new sister shades now.
19i love black honey! i will need to go check out these other colors, although i just bought 2 of the mac mattene lipsticks. i think i have a lipstick addiction. not just lipstick...makeup in general =)
20love, love, love clinique's black honey. Have been wearing it for as long as i can remember. It's a very universal shade.

22I'm psyched. I discovered Black Honey a few months back (thanks to Bella!) and aboslutely love it. The gloss and color are just enough for everyday pretty lips! Can't wait to try Black Raspberry!
23I'm a big Clinique fan and have worn Black Honey for years...I bought the Black Raspberry shade back in late August and though it's pretty, it just doesn't compare to the Black Honey.
