Last night's Takashi Murakami event in Los Angeles was meant to honor Marc Jacobs, who—in typically wacky fashion—colored his hair a bright, Smurfy shade of blue. But I'm more interested in Christina Ricci's hair, which now has a California-girl blend of honey and caramel highlights. What do you think of her choice to lighten things up?

I actaully like both a lot
I like both but prefer dark.
I prefer darker, but I must say that the short cuts like she has here make her head look so big.
With the lighter hair, she reminds me a lot of Winona Ryder. Or maybe she just reminds me of my friend Lauren, who looks like Winona Ryder. I think that's it, yep.
I think the dark suits her personality more, but I like both.
Both are nice but I prefer the dark. I really wish she had a less severe style though.
The lighter shade reminds me a bit of Rose McGowan. totally.
Its pretty on her.
Dark suits her.
The dark definitely suits her better.
I really like the dark hair with her fair skin...
DARK i love her
I kinda dig them both!
lighter brings out her eyes and it makes her look more friendly.
shes so skinny its freaky.
I thought she looked beautiful in Sleepy Hollow with the long curly blonde hair. It just suited her for some reason. But for real life, I like the darker better.
She looks great with both but I prefer the darker.
i like both!
I love that lighter shade! Although she rocks the dark hair too!
I'm so used to her dark hair it always looks weird at first when I see any other color. But I actually really like the lighter color, makes her look less harsh
i like the lighter one, it makes her look less harsh like renee3 said, also I think it makes her look exotic. Something with her skin tone, eyes and hair
i prefer the dark, but i am not digging the hair style on her.
AND I THOUGHT ALOT OF YOU WOULD SAY LIGHTER IT PRETTIER
MAYBE ITS JUST THE STYLE OF HER HAIR THAT BOTHERS ME
I like her w/light hair, she still looks great, but not as harsh
the lighter brown is a perfect colour. i've been trying to get that, but my dark chocolate keeps on coming out
I have no idea... I guess she looks good in both.
I like her with both. The light is a nice change but I'm used to her with the dark. However I don't like the cut.
She's very severe with the dark hair.
the lighter color brings out her eyes, but the hair style is just baaad.
But i think it was unfair! They put a GREAT picture o brunnete Ricci and a messy with her lighter hair? :PPPPP
she look good in both colors but, the dark hair suit her better IMO.
Girlfriend looks like she's got a perma smile. Yeesh!
Both look great, but the dark hair against her light skin really pops.
The dark makes her look very elegant, but I love the lighter version better she looks very classy!
She is getting cuter as she gets older. I think both looks are striking and work for her face.
I like the lighter because it matches her eyes perfectly and she looks more friendly. But her face always looks a tad off-kilter...
I like...lighter!!! She looks like she is glowing
Darker, it just suits her better. Plus the light cut is way to blunt and the tid bit of bangs don't suit her forehead.
she looks good either way. But the lighter make her more approchable.
I don't know which one is better... She has an awful haircut in them both. So it's hard to choose which one looks less crptastic.
It's a bit strange seeing her with lighter hair because it seems she's had dark hair *forever*!
I do like the lighter shade but hope that: a) she doesn't keep it forever; and b) that she grows out that horrid haircut!
I like her hair darker.
I like the highlights but I think she looks more glamorous with the dark hair
I prefer her hair lighter but I think she pulls both off well.
Oh Wow, I did not know she went lighter! I Like it! Alot!
I prefer the dark, and I actually like the dark hair cut also on her. Very Louise Brooks. Generally I think she's weird looking - too Cupie Doll and too skinny these days - but I like that picture of her with the dark hair.
