If lip gloss is a little of what you fancy, then you are going to love this Precious Carat Lip Gloss Jewel in Diamond Splendor from Lancome. This diamond shaped paperweight is filled with clear, sparkly lip gloss. I have a feeling it's going to give you more butterflies than getting an actual diamond!
At first when I heard about it I thought, "Eh, this is probably just another holiday marketing ploy. Take an already existing product, throw a crystal on it and jack up the price." But I was wrong: this is really adorable. And the $40 price tag makes it a terrific present for anyone who goes gaga over beauty products and bling!
The case is made from shiny (and heavy) silver metal and crowned with a giant Swarovski Crystal that has the trademark Lancome flower embossed at the bottom. Inside is home to a less-sticky, less goupy version of their Color Fever Lip Gloss. Also, it contains flecks of gold glitter! If chic is what you seek, this is the gloss for you!

1It's really cute! If someone gave it to me as a gift, I'd love it! But I'd never spend $40 on it.
2ditto emalove
3love it! that is deffinetly going on my shopping list!
4I love this, really cute!
5Oh man, lip gloss in Goldschläger! lulz! Just how big is that thing, anyway? I mean...at first glance, I thought it was that little gloss ring from Sephora, but if it's a paperweight, it's got to be somewhat more substantial, right? And how do you use the gloss? With your finger? A brush, maybe? Do you open it and give it a nice big smooch?
6Super cute packaging. I wish I had a real diamond that big though. Sigh...
7It's cute!
8I pretty much love this
9I love it too
10Wow, great gift idea for sure!!!
Allotrios, the size of this is definitely not paperweight-worthy. I saw this in person the other day, and it's about the size of a small Superball, give or take a bit.
The gloss is clear and feels Vaseline-y. A cute gift, but like someone mentioned, I'd never spend the money on it for myself. Just ain't worth it IMHO.
11Thanks for the info, LipstickChick! Here I was imagining a massive, softball sized paperweight! (It was a little hard to believe.) A Superball, huh? I don't know if I'd trust something the size of a Superball to keep my Important Documents from flying away. (Unless, perhaps, it had roughly the density of a neutron star.)
12Nice...
13wow loving it !!! a have to have it !!!

15Wow...I love the color!!!
16I am soo going to get this for my friends desk in her office.....
