On Monday night, Ashlee Simpson wore bright red lipstick to the Vive Le Karaoke Event at rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz's bar. The next night, she showed up to the CosmoGirl Born to Lead Awards in New York City wearing barely-there buff-colored lipstick. I actually kind of like both, but the buff lipstick looks better.
1Red is not flattering on her, at least not that shade.
2I love nude lipstick. It reminds me of when I was a kid... how I used to sit and stare at my mom put on her makeup. She was so classy, pretty and cool in that Nancy Sinatra sort of way. I wanted to look just like that. I'm not nearly as hot as my mama was... but I own about 10 different shades of nude!
3i don't think it helps that she has a weird smile in the red lipstick picture, but i do like the nude lipstick better.

6i think both look great on her, but the buff is my favorite—it's so chic & sophisticated for fall/winter. the red/poppy color is really playful & sweet.

16yes @ jessicaeden. it's crazy how one nose job can make you look like someone else. i like when ppl are fine with standing out or looking different so i wish she had kept her old nose but oh well

18I love the Nude/Buff/whatever on her but it doesn't hurt that she rocks the smokey eye look with her beautiful peepers.
but yeah, she looks nothing like herself. My teenage neighbor commented she looks like every other generic girl in school. But it's those girls that are IT at their school. Hmmmmm..

27The buff BY FAR! She looks BEAUTIFUL in that second picture! I've never seen such a good picture of her, I normally don't find her to be too pretty -- sorry! But its the truth. That pic is def. an exception though - love it. Whoever did her makeup/hair/outfit should continue to!

32i know what you guys mean about her plastic surgery. and its not just a nose job. she did her jaw, chin, and lips as well.
im not so sure why she changed her entire face, but if she feels better about herself this way, i wont judge her.
but her face did have more character and she was more recognizeable before.
I think the nude definitely looks better on her, but I also think the photo of the red is not that great of a shot of her, so it's hard to compare to two. But I like the buff look, she looks more ethereal.

35Wow , she really looks like she's a drug addict. The pale lips are much prettier but I don't like them combined with the weird eye color. The red lips really need to be worn with a flawless face and it doesn't look like she's wearing concealer or foundation here.
