This just in: Diane Lane has become a "brand ambassador" for Neutrogena. Like Jennifer Garner, she'll appear in advertisements for the brand's skin care. Print ads are in the works, but she'll first show up in a TV commercial for the brand's Healthy Skin Rejuvenator, an anti-aging product that launched recently. In the press release, Diane said
"I believe in uncomplicated, healthy beauty products that work – and to me that is what Neutrogena is all about. I’ve used the products for years, so I feel a real connection to the brand. I’m truly excited to be a part of the Neutrogena team."
Truly! Okay, jokes aside, I'm glad to see another foxy fortysomething getting a contract. Even if it's for an anti-aging product, I have a feeling Diane is the kind of woman who would want to promote the "look your best" philosophy, not the "aging is the worst thing in the world" malarkey. What do you think of Neutrogena's choice?

I mis her long hair
She is so gorgeous.
I love Neutrogena products, and I love that they get spokeswomen that reflect the essence of natural beauty. Diane Lane will be a great addition.
She's gorgeous! I'd love to look that good when I'm her age.
I love Diane, even though she's definately not looking her best in that photo. I'm not sure how I feel about her as a Neutrogena girl until I see the ads... I'll reserve judgement just yet, but I will say that I'd have picked her for a more glamorous brand than Neutrogena. No offense to Neutrogena!
Totally love Diane Lane. She was so good in Sotto il sole della Toscana. Also, she was in The Outsiders way back when.
She's amazing!
she is gorgeous.
She's got such a natural look, she's a great choice for fresh, clean neutrogena.
I think her haircut really ages her. Shame. I don't use Neutragena much. I think they will photoshop the pics anyway so it's almost like it doesn't matter what the spokesmodel is like.
I'm grumpy today
I agree with Chatnoir - her ads will be photoshopped, so it doesn't matter what she truly looks like. It's nice that Neutrogena chose an older spokeswoman. In the past, their spokeswomen were much younger.
I loved her in Under The Tuscan Sun, I think she's a great pick for Neutrogena. She's aging so gracefully.
good for her
seriously. I thought she was cool back when she was Bree in Six Pack. That lady has class in spades. She'll be a great addition to the Neutrogena lineup!
I don't know I think she's a little old for neutrogena, she looks great though
She is an excellent choice for Neutrogena's anti-aging line, she is a beautiful woman who is aging extremely well. Regardless of whether she truly has used their products for years, she should keep doing what she's doing
she's gorgeous and a wonderful actress; great beauty ambassador, no matter the brand ... although, surprisingly, her age is showing in that little photo you have in the article ... hmmm
She's unbelievably gorgeous.
I hope she grows her hair out again though.
I like her with longer hair too.
there is something about diane lane that i love!
I LOVE HER. She is such the classic beauty. She can do no wrong in my book.
It's nice to see an older woman such as herself, being presented as a spokesmodel for this selected product, when they usually have a 30-something doing these anti-aging campanigns. More power to you Diane.
That photo makes her look 10 years older!
I love Diane, but I agree, this haircut is not the best style for her. But hair grows, and I'm sure she'll soon be back to her foxy-lady ways 100%.
terryt18 and sweet georgia I was thrilled to see others remember Diane from those early awesome films(Outsiders,Six Pack). I have been a fan of hers so long and for that reason I wil be watching for and maybe buying those Neutogena products.
