Chanel Beauté keeps introducing new, beautiful treats that I'm dying to try. The latest is a hybrid of lipstick and lip gloss called Crème Gloss Lumière ($32). It's a creamy gel-based formula intended to provide more coverage and less stickiness than a traditional lip gloss, yet it manages to gives off
just as much shine and moisture as a lipstick.
The velvety color is stored in an easy-to-use makeup pen with a brush attached for even application. It's available in six shades: Plum Soufflé (berry plum), Madeleine (rosy pink), Pink Truffle (berry red), Crème Caramel (neutral brown), Petit Four (soft nude) and Crème Brulée (bright coral). And since these are all names of some of my favorite French sweets, I'm finding this quasi-gloss twice as nice.

1Holy moly!
No thanks...
2It sounds like it'd be similar to Stila's lip polish.
3Can't wait to try it!
4I've got to try this.
5It sounds really nice...I'd like a plum one.
6Oooh! If only I could rationalize spending that kind of money on lipstick. It looks lovely.
7It IS lovely. Maybe I should be Bella's Chanel tipper-offer? My SA keeps me VERY up to date, whattaya say???
8me want!
9Yes!!! I can't wait to try this...I wanted to purchase it last week @ Macy's, but they weren't even available yet.
10buying this for my sister as a stocking stuffer
11I'm buying this for my sister too! And maybe one for me?
12oh god. that pink rosy shade is to die for. why must I be a broke, pitiful jobless teenager...? le`sigh!
13the tube is...weird...
14I've been using Chanel's Creme Gloss Lumiere in Caramel (#76) for quite some time now and must say it IS THE BEST ever! I absolutely love it and wouldn't think of using anything but. It's more than just a gloss or a lip color, it moisturizes, looks great and lasts a several hours. In fact, I found this site by seeing if I could order more online rather than going to the mall as I just haven't been in the 'mall' mood lately. So if you're thinking of trying it, even at the cost of $32 each, I say, you won't be disappointed and will buy more after you do try it. It's worth every dollar!
