Next month marks the launch of the Neutrogena Wave Power-Cleanser and Deep Clean Foaming Pads ($12.99), a massaging, vibrating gadget intended to sweep away layers of dead skin cells.
The idea is to affix a single-use pad to the applicator, turn it on, and let it buff away dullness and potential pore cloggers. The pads are pre-loaded with cleanser to produce a "tingly cool lather." I've tried a few other battery-operated cleansing doodads before, but none have sent me over the moon. This one looks like its design is a little more thought-out, though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. One's on the way to me now, so I'll get a review to you soon!

I don't like the products that you have to throw away after one use. Why increase our landfills when other products work so well and so do as much harm.
1Yea, I'm with kari...
2I agree.
3I wonder if it actually moves or just vibrates like the Ponds (I think?) one.
4Yeah, also not loving the "gadgety," single-use thing. I get by with my Neutrogena oil-free acne wash just fine.
5Awaiting the review.... Sounds like it might be a good one.
6ooh can't wait for the review on this one although I'm sure it unfortunately will be a let down..
7I'm with kari as well
8They've got this at the local WalMart already. I've got the Dove one . I like it, but I don't love it.
9Should be interesting to see the review. I doubt it's any good however I'll keep a (some-what) open mind.
10i wouldnt bother with this at all ladies!!!!!!
if you want something that actually works then get your hands on this: http://www.micro-derm-abrasion.net/Youthful_Essence_Microdermabrasion_Ho...
*if your not amazed at the results u can personally come and smack my behind. i use it religiouly about 2-5times a week (sometimes everyday)!
11cant really go wrong with the price...its only 12.99, i wouldn't be devastated if it was mediocre or bad
12Hmmm, maybe I'd try it.
I wonder if the pads are like their MicroDerm pads. I love those.
13didn't one company have a product like these a while back that was recalled?
14I went ahead and sprung for the Clarisonic cleansing brush from Neiman Marcus, it was just under $200, but, I use it twice a day and it cleans your face unbelieveably, I'll never stop using it, the ultrasonic technology is fantastic and I won't spend extra money trying new products that don't work, every now and then I splurge on a really good product, but, it really saves money in the end, and you can now get them cheaper on ebay.

16Thanks for your post, Ive been thinking of buying one but haven't been sure because there seem to be similar things for MUCH cheaper. Actually I think Neutrogena has one they call a microdermabrasion something. Do you think it's really better than the competition? A lot of other brushes claim to use the same or similar technology.
Alright so i bought it to try it out... used it twice... so far its alright but as someone said previously i dont like that you throw it away after one use... it seems like there is still so much soap left on it too. And yes it is just like a little vibrator that you put on your face. I'll see how good the results are after my little pads run out but i doubt i'll spend the money to buy more. But im the WORST for buying new products just to try them lol so i thought i'd give you the inside hehe
17I bought it and tried it twice. It's not so bad I kind of like the fact that its gentle and doesn't feel harsh or brillo like on my skin.
18can i use it?..im 13 yrs old
