Did you get some gift cards this holiday? If so, Dr. Brandt has a thick and luxurious antiaging, complexion-boosting lotion called Contour Effect ($185) that might be up your alley. It was developed as a last-ditch effort for Dr. Brandt's patients, who asked him for a firming fountain-of-youth product to try before undergoing cosmetic surgery.

Made with antioxidants and other powerful ingredients such as mamaku essence (to stimulate and tone skin tissues), calmosensine (to relax the skin), and bacocalmine (an antistress herb to calm irritations) skin should look more even toned, firmer and supple. It also enriches seriously dehydrated or dry skin, as well as stimulates cells and promotes increased regeneration. To use, just apply a small amount to a clean face and neck in the morning. If your skin is excessively dry, you can also use it in the evening.
While I doubt that this topical cream can work miracles to turn back the hands of time, it does have peptides to help slow down the aging process. And on the off chance that you've got an extra $185 burning a hole in your pocket, I hope you'll try it and let everyone know how well it works!

I'm not buying any more skin products until I finish reading this book "The Beautiful Skin Workout" by Dr. Michelle Copeland. I got it for Christmas, I'm halfway done but its an amazing book. There's nothing in that jar that will peform anything close to being worth $185. That's ridiculous!
1Sounds nice...I have dry skin, so maybe I'd try it. A bit $$ though.
2Yeah, it's amazing what people can be talked into spending their money on! I COULD afford it.. but there's no way I'm spending that much on a small jar of cream.
I'll just test it out at Sephora! hehe
3gasp, 1.7 oz? 185 bucks!? some people will do anything to look what- half a year younger? live with it. this 185$ jar of science cant possibly make you look that much better
4that's expensive, but i think dr. brandt is sort of a cosmetics genius, i love his poreless cleanser and it is the best face wash I have ever used...I also loved his pores no more makeup at first, but now because of the cleanser I don't even need it!
5Oh dear. That's just a tad pricey. I think I'll go with the less expensive "preventative method" of taking care of my skin before it gets wrinkly and damaged...
6thats a VERY expensive cream. i hate to say this, but i have doubts about buying stuff from his line. i saw him on vh1, and i have to say i was shocked. the man has so much botox and restalyne in his face, that he is starting to look like michael jackson.
i know it may seem silly, because his products may be great, and he may be a great doctor, but i just have trust issues with somebody who does that to themselves being in the beauty buisness.
sure, i want to look young, and i want gorgeous skin. but i also want to look natural and well, human.
thoughts?
