It's been a colorful year for nail polish. We saw lots of bright raspberry and fruit punch nails during the spring and summer months, but deep dark sinful nail polishes in both matte and metallic shades were by far one of the biggest beauty trends of 2007. I love purple nails... so romantic!
1Purple, navy, red and black, those were the colours I rocked this year.

26A girl at my office wears a really deep brown she found at an Aveda salon and I want to get my hands on it... can't find good dark colors in drug stores either - have to go to Sephora or something - what's up with that?

33Pale colors like sheer silver-white, sheer gray-pink or even opaque white looked really fresh this year. That's a solid colored nail NOT a French manicure, which I think are hopelessly uncool.

35For the last couple of years I've been addicted to wearing black nail polish. I absolutely hate all those too perfect French manicures I see LA women with and I feel like black nails really fits my personality. It just so happened to end up becoming the popular thing to do...

43I went on a mad nail polish shopping spree this year.....Chanel nail polish I found was the best hands down as far as quality. I fell in love with the dark burgundy and maroon colors. Believe it or not, the drugstore brands really have stepped up their color game as well....check out Maybelline's "Amped Aubergine"...dark purple-ish burgundy metallic color...so hot!

47OPI Russian Navy is my new fav!!! But i have heard it's sold out everywher, so glad I got my bottle!! Also, for me red will never go out of style!
