Lip balms are practically a necessity in this blustery, cold winter weather. Here are three brands of super-strength lip balms that I had never heard of, yet they seem to be cult favorites around the world. (Gosh, I hate feeling left out.) Thought you'd be keen on reading about more of these as well. One note: Pay close attention to the prices since they vary drastically.
Dr. Harris Lip Balm ($8) is a smoothing, soothing and healing lip balm that works wonders on healing, dry, cracked or chapped lips. It is made with yummy-smelling cocoa butter and cooling menthol to create a fresh scent and a tingly sensation!

Acqua di Parma Capri Orange Lip Balm ($28) is a protective lip balm made with coconut oil, beeswax, and shea butter to help nourish the lips and help restore moisture when necessary. When I first read about it I couldn't believe the cost, but then I saw that it was inspired by one of the most expensive places on earth, Capri — now it all makes sense!
Clark's Botanicals Ultra-Rich Lip Balm ($17) is made from natural moisturizers such as shea butter, aloe, jojoba, and sweet-almond oil as well as marine collagen microspheres to seal in water and ensure your pout is perfectly hydrated! Lastly, it's also formulated with vanilla and jasmine — I can only imagine what kind of sweet addiction this could cause.

I am reallyyy loving Principessa's Bacio Me for a good lip balm right now!
1Mmm poor lips need this stuff!!!
2I live for my MAC moisturizing balm.
3My favorite for years now has been Kiehl's Lip Balm #1. This is amazing stuff. I have tubes and jars of it on me at all times and stashed around the house, sounds crazy, I know but I don't like chapped lips...
4The link for the Bigelow stuff says Product Not Found
Myself, I swear by Lip Service by Lush. It seems very hard in the tub it comes in, but smooth it between your fingers and on your lips and your lips will never crack at night again!
5Hm... I like the sound of the DR Harris one, might have to check that out. At the moment, I'm a big fan of Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip conditioner...
6must definitely try, thanks for the suggestions! however, nothing beats my carmex! ;o)
7Carmex and Aveeno need to be on this list.
8I'm a total lip balm junkie (over 20 on my makeup desk)and Aveeno is the best I've ever tried.
spf 15, too!
Never tried these ones.
I love Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm and C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Lip Balm. I don't wear much lip color at all in the winter because I'm constantly reapplying one of these balms to keep the dryness away and they do an amazing job of it!
9Yeah the link didn't work for me either, for the Dr. Harris balm but I'd like to try!
10I love Smith's Minted Rose Lip Balm & Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm. Lips would be sad without them!
11My favorite right now is LypSyl. It's made from bee's wax and really works! Plus, it is cheaper than Burt's Bees. I found it at Walgreen's for $1.99 and it comes in Honey Rose and Honey Berry flavors.
12I love C.O. Bigelow's My Favorite Lip Balm too. It moisturizes but also leaves a nice shine-it's the best!
13I use good ol' regular medicated Blistex. Works for me!
14I can't live without my Burt's Bees.
15i love original burts bees
16i love original burts bees
17I use ChapStick and a locally made herbal balm that Whole Foods sells.
18kiehls!!! they have the #1 original one and one with SPF 15 and 2 tinted SPF 15's! how could you not love it
19I swear by Eucerin Aquaphor.
20I need something, I feel chapped
21Someone just gave me the Clark's Botanicals one and i freakin' love it. It makes my lips feel soft...and i am so happy to not have to use one that uses petrolatum or parabens and smells like tar.
22I agree with gypsygoddess I received Lypsyl in the mail from bzzagent to try and it is now my best friend! I haven't tried the honey rose or the honey berry flavors but I am going to try and pick them up soon.
