Ten years ago, most women hadn't heard of microdermabrasion, Botox was used mostly to treat muscle twitches, and the idea of using a gizmo to stop a pimple was for Judy Jetson alone. In 2007, we have a wealth of high-tech ways to treat the tiniest details of our appearance. Which idea do you consider the biggest beauty breakthrough?

I think rather than just one big innovation it's all the smaller ones in term of ingredients, intelligent packaging, and so on, that's really been the change-maker.
the gadgets in the choices of the poll are often not available to everyone as they're kinda expensive and perhaps a bit harder to handle than a simple face cream in a simple container - so it would make lots more sense to do more research on something more people could use.
and that research is really what gets out to the masses, not just the ones so lucky as to live in a developed country, for example (I am Danish but live in India).
Hey! I bought the @ home, LOREAL Microdermabraion kit for (Chest, arms & hands) @ the 99 cents store!!!!!
Mexoryl sun protection. I don't have to worry about my very pale skin so much!
sun protection
I would never go to a walk in botox place....
this may seem silly compared to all the gadget choices but i think the o glow by smashbox is pretty innovative. makeup that adjusts to your skin tone is something i never would of dreamed of ten years ago
haven't tried any of these.
ummm the hair removal device for sure! over time it pays for itself and then some!plus the one I bought came with a lifetime warranty. so i'll never be without it!
Sun protection - I am so pale!
Zit-zapping gadgets like Zeno and ThermaClear... I love them
I love my zeno, meow
I used to pop into my facialist when I had a pimple b/c she had a zit-zapping light thing that would make it disappear by the next day. She never charged me, but I would have to work it into my day somehow. Now I can do it myself with the ThermaClear and it works just as well
I've tried both Zeno and ThermaClear. I found that Zeno worked better on my zits and not as painful. I love Zeno for 2007's beauty breakthroughs! Worth the investment...
definitely the Zeno ... I don't trust at-home microderm/chemical peels. I think that's something you should leave to estheticians.
for me, it was the discovery of liquid oat beta glucans (used by Rx to improve scar recovery/skin growth) and retinol/retin-a!
UUHH, HEL-LOOO! THAT OLAY MICRODERMABRASION WAS CREATED JUST FOR ME!! HAS TURNED BACK THE CLOCK & PEOPLE NOTICE THE LUMINOUSITY FACTOR OF ROBINESQUE. YES!!!!!!GOTTA TRY IT. HOLLA
I would have to agree with the Zeno! I love the concept and added plus they have a money back guarantee in the rare case it doesn't work!
pain free laser hair removel!!!! i have got i done everywhere on me (except my head)
the new olay line is nice.
