Now that Beauty Week is over, here are some mild makeup removers to help wipe your makeup slate clean. These makeup removers are strong enough they will thoroughly remove all of the residue on your face from the day, but gentle enough they won't irritate your eyes causing redness and sagging skin. Makeup removers are also great for quick fixes for spot treating messes. Just dip a q-tip on them and you're good to go. Here are my top three choices:
This oldie but goodie has never irritated my eyes or my skin. It's a no frills, oil and fragrance free eye makeup remover that you can use all over your face, day or night. It's also super easy to take off; just rinse with water. This Clinique Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent is $14.50.

Napoleon Perdis Foaming Makeup Remover, $25, is so cool! You can put it in the fridge to chill it. This foaming marshmallow-like makeup remover leaves your face feeling fresh and crisp. Use water if you like, or just wipe everything away with a tissue.

Almay Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover Pads, $5, have been a drugstore bestseller for eons. These come packaged in a convenient jar filled with remover soaked pads. Just wipe and watch your makeup come right off. They are oil free so they won't clog your pores or blur your contact lenses.

1I love Clinique's!
2I used to use Clinique's remover, but then I was in a pinch and picked up the Almay remover pads and I've been hooked ever since!
3The Clinique makeup remover trips me out because it actually seems to dissolve the makeup rather than just remove it.
It's a trip to have all the makeup come off but not a lot sitting there on the cotton pad.
It works well, but you do have to rinse it off.
My favorite is Lancome Bifacil. You don't have to rinse it off, so it works for fixes while you're doing your makeup.
4I just use baby oil, does anyone else do that? Is there anything wrong with that?
5nope rubia, I use baby oil for the eyeliner underneath my eyes when I do wear it, and I use it for mascara as well, boy, i hate eye makeup...
6i like the proactiv wipes, and when im lazy it doubles as a cleanser.
7i know he thinks you're fine and stuff but does he know how to wind you up?
the almay pads are amazing, and very well priced....love them
8my fav is Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. it leaves my skin feeling so soft and the makeup comes off so easily... they have some good stuff these days... not just for grandmas anymore!!
9Avon's eye make-up remover works great and my skin feels wonderful afterward. you only need a drop the size of a pea (at most) and not only is it inexpensive, it lasts forever.
10I actually like Philosophy's Purity Made Simple cleanser for makeup remover. I wear MAC and this cleanser really just takes it right off. It's very gentle. I also use MAC's makeup remover wipes. They are pricey though.
I have never tried Clinique's remover.
The girl at MAC told me that she uses Babyshampoo to remove her makeup. lol
11For sensitive skin, Cetaphil rocks. It's the only cleanser I'll ever use on my face.
12Thanks Juliem. I use Cetaphil moisturizer but I'll have to try the cleanser.
13I use the Almay pads. I find them to be cleansing without drying.
14Have to say my favorite is hands down Keihl's Supremely Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. It's a lotion so it's moisturizing as well. And you only have to use the littlest amount. I use it daily and one 4.2 oz bottle lasts me almost a whole year.
15Neutrogena Oil Free is my favorite makeup remover. I also like Bifacil. And want to try Philosophy.
