7I LOVE Lancome's Star Gloss Brush on Lip Shine in Gold - it's smooth and shear with little flecks of gold. Looks good over lipstick.

9Shopaholic, I use the stuff from Mary Kay and it's not bad. If you want a DIY job, put a little salt and a drop of olive oil on a wedge of orange and give your lips a rub. Does a great job. Barring that, the old toothbrush and cool water trick works too!
I'm loving the sheer gold idea. I go to school right on Lake Michigan (Carthage College, go Red Men!), so anything that looks good AND combats the evil Chap Demons is fine by me!

13As long as it's sheer and just gives a little shimmer, I'd go for it. Although it sounds terrible...gold lips??!
14i actually got the benefit gold lipstick... i tried the gloss out in the store and didn't like it (and usually I'm a gloss girl). But the lipstick is great. its very sheer and looks good alone but also good with a clear gloss or over my nude lipstick. it almost does for the lips what bronzer does for the face but in a gold hint instead. i really like it
