O-Gloss ($22) isn't just any new lip gloss, it's a version of Smashbox's hugely popular O-Glow, a gel-cheek color that comes out of the tube with no color at all and then changes into a pinky shade upon contact with your skin. There are several blushers on the market like this right now, but nothing in a gloss, so this is actually pretty cool.
The gloss follows the same principle as the cheek version. When it comes in contact with your skin, it transforms into a bubble-gummy pink hue that's a little bit brighter than the natural color of your lips.
It is made with Goji Berry-C Complex, gingko biloba, marine plankton, pomegranate seed, and avocado oils to give you shine, nourishment, and antioxidant protection.
I've tried O-Glow and if weren't for the fact that I have so much pink in my skin already, I think I really would have given it a go. On lips, though, it might be another story. Do you think you'll try O-Gloss?

For $22 it should be good!
1Funky!!
2I love this! I have the O-blush and it's pretty nice.
I love pink glosses.
3I love this! I have the O-blush and it's pretty nice.
I love pink glosses.
4when I first saw this I went O yeah! haha...I want it
5Interesting but if I were to try one it'd be the cheek color.
6There actually is a product exactly like this on the market. Its been around a few years actually. Glossblossom by Mark.
7i got my mom hooked on the cheek stuff. i want to try it. unfortunatly every time i go to sephora i end up spending $50+
8I still need to get some O-Glow, I guess I'll have to put that and this on my list of things to pick-up after Christmas!
9The cheek-version doesn't really do it for me, but I would def be up for trying the lip gloss version!
10nope
11FINALLY! something NEW!
good job smashbox!
12I have the O-glow cheek color and I love it!!! I'm really fair and when I first apply it - it's very pink, but as i rub it into my cheeks it softens to a really natural color. I use it on my lips all the time so, I would totally try the gloss to see how much of a difference it makes!!!
13Bella - Kind of off the O-Gloss topic but if you have very oily skin should you steer clear of products like O-Glow??
14well if I get that sephora gift card that I asked for maybe I'll get this
15O-Glow is the best thing to have happened to my cheeks!
So O-Gloss is next on my list, for sure!
16There is something just like this out there. It's from Avon's Mark brand. It's called GLOSSBLOSSOM. I love it and best of all it's only $6.
17ladyliz Great minds think alike! I said that a few hours ago and no one seemed to notice! why pay 22 when you can pay 6 for a guarenteed product!
18Exactly miss matilda... and you're right, it has been out for a while. I'm surprised Bella didn't know about this equally great product. That's $16 in our pocket.
19looks like fun!
20mark has a comparable product called "gloss blossom lip ripening tint" and i bet you it will be just as good or even better than smashbox's verson, and you save $20 too.
21k so not $20 but like $15 lol
22Eh... like people have said, Mark has one, and also, the notion of bubblegum pink lips isn't particularly appealing. Just buy pink lipgloss, though - no need for the fancy schtick.
23So does the bubble-gum pink color transform into something that matches your individual skin tone? I guess I will have to try it at Sephora when it comes in!
24I'll sample it but not buy it.
25I would totally try this if it were in a giveaway
hint hint
26The color does transform when it's applied, but it doesn't match your skin tone individually. It's a clever idea, but it's not THAT smart.
27O-glow turns pink before being applied to the skin. I've seen it happen to my tube. Therefore it's a chemical that seems to react to air, not one that reacts to skin.
28I just know that this will come out ugly on my lips. It's a really great idea I just don't think that it will work.
29I've tried the one for cheeks and it was a disaster! It left a bright pink streak on my cheek and took forever to fade...so yeah, i probably won't try the one for lips...
30Baby Pink also has had a lip gloss like this for a few years now, and I remember having a SoftLips back in junior high (I'm 22 now) that did the same thing.
31hmm. i ran out to get o-glow, and while i do use it occaisonally, i find that its great when you first put it on, but then fades within 1/2 an hour.
maybe its because like bella i have really pale skin with pinky undertones.
i don't know.
ill sample the gloss in sephora to see if its any better than the blush is, but i sortof feel like i already have tons of lip gloss. so unless its absolutely amazing, ill probably pass.
32I just received this in the mail from Allure's November free stuff giveaway, and I don't think it makes much difference in my lips, which naturally have a lot of color.
33i definately want to give this a try. i have been looking for the perfect bubble gum cutesey pink gloss, but havent had any luck.
34I bought the gloss and its amazing!!! i will NEVER buy another lip gloss again!!!
