Drum roll, please! The winner of 2007's best foundation is Bare Escentuals bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation. A whopping 30 percent of you chose this product, and based on your comments, you like the fact that this natural-looking foundation makes your skin look really even in photos. It actually took this poll by storm and it seems like mineral makeup is really taking off this year. My personal fave is the La Bella Donna mineral foundation for all of the same reasons!

2I love Bare Escentuals, but its so messy. I just recently switched to Pur Minerals and love it! I still use the mineral veil and blush from BE. I'm sure there will be days I'll use the foundation again too, but for now I'm enjoying not having such a mess.

7why does everyone go crazy over this foundation? I don't get it. Sure, it covers well but it always leaves me looking greasy by the end of the day, and it's MESSY.
8Hate to say it, but my co-workers at Sephora are so tired of this foundation! Only because it's the most-asked for foundation out of all our foundations & they hate breathing in this stuff haha. I actually use Everyday Minerals & I think it's pretty great too.

11Bare Escentuals ID Foundation is the best I've ever used. I started using this product back in 2002 when they were fairly new, and had many/countless compliments since then. It has great coverage without the heavy feel, in fact, I dont feel like I'm wearing anything at all! So I do agree, best foundation!

13I prefer Jane Iredale mineral make-up. I tried Bare Minerals and the Jane Iredale gives more natural cover, it's more expensive, but, in my opinion it's better. Meow

16Started using BE last fall and will never use another foundation ever again. It's fantastic!
17I am OVER my bare minerals. I have no wrinkles (I am 25) yet it some how manages to settle into even the slightest lines on my face. Plus I got it so I could skip blemish and under eye concealer, but it doesn't work well enough to do that. And the product does not work well as a concealer itself (which it is supposed to) because the color darkens if you put too much on one spot.
I am going to look for a nice dewey looking cream foundation when my BE runs out.
18I've never understood the BE thing... I tried it once. It was messy, it didn't look natural, and my skin was shiny within an hour.
That said, I don't bother with foundation, because it's not necessary all over my face and it just gets greasy and icky. I use True Match concealer where it's needed, and the powder all over, and I'm set.
19I have been using this line since it first came out and I will be a faithful user unless some MIRACLE foundation comes around that is even better! I like to use the mineral veil alone when I am not going out.It gives my skin a smooth look when I am doing things that just are boring like grocery shopping! I do have ONE question someone might be able to help me with! I am 40 and I have started to get the inevitable "crows feet" and the powder does tend to settle into those little pesky lines.I am NOT ready to get any "fillers-like botox" yet and while I dont rule anything out one day, just not yet. Ideas welcome!
20Mary Kay just introduced a mineral powder foundation that is 10 times better than bare escentuals!
21Mac is coming out with a Mineral foundation too. They do have the Mineralized Skin Finishes foundations that are pressed but I think the new ones won't have talc.
BE has that Bismuth that makes a shine. Icky.
I like Everyday Minerals though.
22I love BE. I've never really worn foundation until I tried this. It's all i've used for over 3 years. One pot lasts me for about a year too, so i find it to be a great buy!

24My mom got me a set of BE last year for Christmas, and I'm not a huge fan.
I suffer from adult acne and need more coverage than BE gives. Also I am very fair skinned and their lightest shade is orange on me. And thirdly, I'm 26 years old and have dry skin, and BE settles into my fine lines!

25i use this every day and my mom got it for me last year and i love it sooo much...it even clears up skin after a while of use and keep your skin healthy afterwards...LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!
