Stila has some good things cooking for spring, and they're slowly starting to trickle out. I'm eagerly awaiting a preview package so I can test the new items (and of course, I'll share my findings with you). But for now, here's the scoop.
The most exciting news is that Stila is introducing eye shadow duos ($20), placing two shades in one split pan. All of the 28 (!) shades are new, and they're in addition to the existing eye shadows. These shadows have been reformulated: they have micronized powder pigments and pearl to go on more smoothly, and a silicone-based binding system helps them blend better. Six of the 14 duos are available to Sephora Beauty Insiders right now, and the rest of the colors will be out in February.

Sephora also has the permanent exclusive on The Contouring Trio ($38), a set of three shading and contouring powders in one lighted compact. It has a highlighting powder, a lowlighting powder, and a soft neutral shimmer to sculpt. I can't see this one being a blockbuster seller, but I definitely want to play around with it.
Moving on to lips, there's the Cherry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain ($24). It comes in a pen applicator and doles out an antioxidant-rich stain that supposedly reacts with the pH in skin—making the color different on everybody. The cynic in me thinks this could be a marketing scheme, but I'm a sucker for stains, especially when they're cherry-scented.
(I told you, there's a lot of new stuff. Still with me?)
Another new product is a pair of eye shadow quads ($38 each). Marrakesh, the warm palette, includes earth-tone shadows in a warm pink, a cool pink, a golden apricot and a golden brown. Montemart (which I'm going to interpret as a misspelling of Montmartre) is a cool palette, featuring a light pink, soft lilac, soft orchid, and a rich plum shadow. Both palettes should be out in February.
Finally, there's MAJOR Major Lash mascara ($22), a limited-edition revamp of Stila's best-selling Major Lash mascara. The mascara has been upgraded to a thick, tapered brush to make lashes bolder than before, and the tube itself contains more mascara. Available in black only, it's another Sephora exclusive—so keep your eyes open for it.

I definitely will be purchasing the Cherry Crush Cheek/Lip pen. I love stains.
I am going to head over to Sephora.com right now, I have a gift card to spend too!
5The lip and cheek stain and the eye shadow look great. The countouring product doesn't look like anything I haven't seen before.
6Sephora needs their own credit card....
7PrincessTracy, sice JC Penney bought Sephora, you can use the Penney's card for online purchases. (Not in stores, though, I think.)
8OMG I want the eyeshadow duos... *sigh* there's nothing I love more than a beautifully-made palette, and Stila has just made that dream a little bit more possible
Beautiful!
