Due to the holidays, I had to tear myself away from my usual addictions last week (i.e. Gossip Girl) and catch up with a much-needed visit with family and friends. I love how TV shows time it just right so that you don't miss out on anything while you are away, but like you, I was bummed not to get my Gossip Girl fix when I finally sat down with Tivo the other night.

That's why I thought I'd quiz you on a little fun beauty fact I recently stumbled upon regarding your favorite Upper East Siders. For all of you who have Jenny, Serena and Blair hair envy, find out whether these gorgeous girls are naturally blessed or if they get a little extra help from full-bodied hair extensions.

I'm not surprised...
1I knew that Leighton wore extensions in her hair but I am kinda surprised about the other girls, especially Blake Lively. She had long locks when she was in "Accepted" and in other recent photos of her, it seems like her hair is still really long.
2They all wear them! BTW, loving seeing me in the top scorers list! Woohoo!
3Don't forget, they have professional hair stylist to make every shot picture perfect. If I had someone following me around all day making sure my hair was perfect, I would look that good too!
4Why is this surprising? Hair doesn't look like that naturally unless you're exceptionally lucky...
5I'm so disillusioned! Lol! I'm so jealous of Blair's hair!
6well the stylists did a great job with the extensions.
7miss b spears should borrow their stylist.
8it's not fair! i want me some!
9yes they do!
10Doesn't everyone in Hollywood embellish from time to time?
11I knew it! thier hair is to perfect! No one has that perfect of hair!!!!
12Everyone in Hollywood wears weaves!
Please don't tell me you didn't know.
Beyonce sports lace wigs by the way . . .
hope i didn't shatter anyone's dreams.
13it's not a big deal to wear extensions.
people have been doing it for years and years.
it's easier to hide with caucasian and latina hair. because the human hair is closer to the texture of your natural hair.
with african americans, we have to relax, and flat iron ours . . .and we have to make sure not to put ANY major products in our hair . . .or else you get separation.
Britney has fusion, and if fusion isn't done right, you will get bird's nest a la Brit.
Fusion takes your hair out majorly.
Sewn in weaves are good, but limit you on your hair styles.
full-weaves are expensive, but are very much worth it if done nicely; otherwise you will look like you have a bad wig on.
Lace wigs are the best if you are very into your hair being on point. They are an investment, but worth your weight in gold.
14their hair always looks very nice
15Which is logical...
16They look super natural though, not that kind of tacky Tara Reid/Britney extension look. In a way I'm glad they wear extensions as it'd be a bit unattainable otherwise!
17Asia84 that's good to know - I'm clueless when it comes to hair extensions and weaves.
I did think that Blake's hair was naturally thick and long since it's the same style since Sisterhood. She has the best hair!
18It's completely illogical to believe that anyone in fashion magazines or in TV shows like "Gossip Girl" are sporting their natural hair. 90% of those people are wearing falls or extensions. Many of them have had their hair styled so many times that it is basically pathetic little broken wisps. Makes me feel better about my own natural hair!
19oh thank god, I would have been so jealous if they had that hair naturally...it still looks very nice even though it's fake!
20Actually, I am still jealous!!!
21It's not just to make it longer....It's to make it thick. Losts of women have plenty long hair but they want it to be full and thick towards the ends. You can make them clip on so that they do not damage their natural hair one bit!
22duh!
23Ahhh......DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
24i have thick hair naturally but im so jealeus of blair first season haire... i like serena 2nd season hair lol
