I just came across these Pedisavers pedicure socks ($16–$20), and I can't stop giggling. The idea is that you put them on before applying polish, so that you keep your legs and feet warm. Additionally, these socks eliminate the need for toe separators. (Are toe separators a big problem that needed to be solved?) I doubt I'd wear these, but for cold-footed pedicure addicts, maybe it's a must-have. What do you think?

not a chance.
so fugly.
OMG what a useless product! lol Of course like the fingerless gloves, they will probably be "in" to wear all the time! Great laugh!
That is just a really silly idea. How long does it take for someone's feet to cold while painting toenails and waiting for them to dry? It also looks ridiculous.
No way! These are kind of weird...
those are ridiculous! i just wear flip flops even in the winter lol

Wouldn't you want to keep your toes warm, too?
I don't see the need. I just got my once-in-a-very-blue-moon pedicure with my fiance's mother last week, put my shoes on afterwards, and had no problems with smudging or chipping or anything like that.
NO
how do you put these on after a pedicure? seems silly...
No, they are ugly and don't seem practical either.
No way. I just wear flip flops.
No way I'd buy these. Pretty darn useless.
But I must admit that they're not a far cry from the Prada toeless socks I've been lusting after.
A little odd, for sure. I'm not so sure about these.
Nope.
That's ridiculous! HAHA
These are made for silly girls with nothing better to spend their money on.
Ummm no...
Just last week I had a pedicure and it was freezing outside. Because my toes seem to smudge if I put on shoes or socks right away, normally I wear flip flops for the remainder of the day (or go barefoot), but it was just too cold. So I took an old pair of socks with holes in them and cut off the toes. Then I could still wear my flip flops, keeping the rest of my feet warm until I got home. It worked really well and was free and easy! And my pedicurist thought my ingenuity was cool.

Omg! Those are hideous...I can stand the cold a couple of seconds before I get into my car.
UMMM, NOOOOOO! Those are like surgical stockings for the elderly.
I would never rock those with sandals either...LMAOOOOOOOO
The cold doesn't bother me much so I probably wouldn't buy these, but for girls who shiver at the thought of a breeze, these would come in handy! I have some toe-less "yoga" socks and I love them for yoga, of course, and for lounging around because they showcase my toesies. I also love toe socks (like gloves for feet) for the same reason and everyone who sees them always comment on how cute the socks are!
Nope!
those are worse than the dollar sandals they sell at the shop. man oh man.
i LOVE toe socks too mandy
Oh retrodoll, I agree with you! I've prepped patients for the OR and they do look like the surgical stockings we use (minus the individual toes). You have to have some muscle to put them on (like support hose) and they're a lovely white, and always have to have the toes sticking out to check circulation. Well at least it was good for a laugh!
These are so ridiculous.
1. How do you get them on without ruining your pedicure?
262. What good would they do if it's cold enough for you to need socks? Aren't you still going to be wearing closed-toe shoes?
Can we say tacky.
Stupid and Ugly! Toe seperaters have never been an issue and why not just throw some flip flops with jeans (if your legs get cold the jeans will prevent that.)
one word.. awful
Haha Sweet! Those are so 80's-chic!
These are weird. Even though my feet do get cold after a while, I still wouldn't wear these.
I can't decide which is uglier - the socks, the shoes or the coral polish!
No!
HAHAHA no. That's a waste of $16-$20! Surely you can deal with a few minutes of cold air on your lower legs and feet? (Or better yet, paint your toenails inside, where it's warm??) That's just too silly...
Hideously hilarious... but still hideous. HAHAHHAA
im gonna go against the grain, i love it! i think it's really new and interesting looking! i usually dont bother with painting nails cause they grow out and look bad within a week but for this, i would go out of my way for it! would wear it not just for a pedicure. it IS strange, i like it!
Wouldn't it be cheaper just to buy yourself some 80's leg warmers if you're that cold?
not in black. You'd just look silly.
Nope, I don't think I'd wear them... I get a good foot massage with my pedicure and it wouldn't work with socks on!
No way!
wow ... no way!
ewww...
No way, they make no since at all.
I'd be nervous about fibres from the socks getting stuck in the polish and ruining it all!
Well I could see that they are functional in a sense but I wouldn't pay that much for them. You could cut out your own socks like someone said above or just wear flip flops. I would never wear them with sandals though, maybe with a closed toe shoe. Whenever I get a pedicure, I get some oil put over the polish and around my toes then put saran wrap from around my toes to the ball of my foot. I can pretty much put on whatever shoes I want to and my polish is never smudged. Then when I get home, I take all of that off and walk around with very moisturized bare feet with smudge free polish.
They seem pretty uselass to me. And that pic with the sandals is high...wait for it... larious!!
These would severely hinder the amazing calf and foot massage that is the real reason i get pedicures!
How would you take those off without touching your polish?
oh i would definitely use a product like this. its soo much better than having them saran wrap you feet before putting on your socks and shoes. and that way in the winter, you can have your pedicure and have your feet be warm too!!
sure, they are super ugly, but they definitely can come in handy.
Why I never!
