Out of all the women at last night's Critics' Choice Awards, only one of them had the kind of high-drama look that stopped me in my tracks. Don't get me wrong, Angelina looked as gorgeous as ever with her signature look, and Queen Latifah looked regal. But Emily Deschanel was the one who tried something different. Everything about this look is strong: Her intense black liner and false lashes, the contoured cheeks, the not-a-hair-out-of-place updo. . . It's a bold take on glamour, no bones about it. 1I really like her makeup! My only complaint is that such dark eyeliner makes her pale eyes seem more pale - it does make her look just a teensy bit scary!
