Two years ago, former model Keisha Nash Whitaker (wife of Oscar winner Forest Whitaker) and celebrity makeup artist friend AJ Crimson set out to design their own line of luscious lip glosses. Just a few short months ago, their dreams became a reality and Kissable Couture launched the First Kiss Collection.
The shimmery, smooth glosses ($22) range in color from peach to burgundy. There are seven shades in the collection, and the cutest part of all is that every gloss is named after fellas that Keisha and her friends have kissed (i.e. Eric, Dylan, Chris, David, Johnny, Tyler and of course Forest).
Only one collection has been released so far, but stay tuned for a few new shades that are due out just before Valentine's Day!

- Forest: Crimson sparkle
- David: Smokey topaz
- Tyler: Bright violet
- Eric: Bronzed coral
- Chris: Pure peach
- Dylan: Bubblegum pink
- Johnny: Pale lavender

Fancy! Cute names too.
1a lip gloss is a lip gloss is a lip gloss...i'm not impressed!
2I hearted this sometime ago and it seems nobody was excited. i guess they're still NOT?
3This looks wonderful!
4I love the peachy color
as well as the idea behind naming the glosses. Too cute.
5The colors look really pretty
6i like the names
7Forest is my favorite.
8They look great I can't wait to try them out! =)
9I think these look amazing!
10Great product! But don't order it from them direct online, they need re-visit their "customer care".
11*Inner BPJ: OoooOOOoooHhhhhh!!! Lipgloss!!!* Automatic gut reaction to lipgloss is like a small child with a shiny toy... that said, there doesn't seem to be anything particularly amazing about these, other than looking cool
12cute! Luv the name idea!
13i'm always on the search for the perfect lipgloss- so i'll try anything!
14those are HOT!
15These look like they'd be amazing on women with darker skin. I love the idea for the names as well how clever. I wonder how they decided which name for which color hehe.
16I love the naming concept, too. Super cute. I'm not just saying that because I love Forest Whitaker, although his vegetarianism and arse-kicking role on The Shield give me plenty of reason to love him.
17I would love to try these but I can't see paying $22 for lipgloss.
18I love the naming of these lipglosses, but I think the pricing is a bit high for my tastes.
19Uh-oh- need a Johnny!!!!

Forest Whitaker’s beautiful ex-model wife, Keisha Nash-Whitaker has decided that she doesn’t have enough money being married to an Academy Award winner, so she has created a lip-gloss line that sells for $22 bucks a pop. Is Kissable Couture worth making the richer rich?
With cutesy packaging, this lip-gloss line is couture for your lips. After trying the pale pink, “Dreams”, the sparkly mauve, “Bliss” and the Hollywood glam red, “Fantasies”, I must say I was impressed. And I was skeptical at first; whom does Mrs. Whitaker think she is making such a pricey lip-gloss? Sure, when it comes to looking good, I spare no expense but normally the price comes with some incentive say, proceeds go to a great cause or the beauty find helps in my efforts to go green, yet Kissable Couture does neither.
But what it does is provide your lips with fun awesome colors, long-lasting coverage and memories of your first kiss. “Dreams” is a subtle color that shows just a hint of pink on your pout. If you love old Hollywood glam, “Fantasies” is a gloss that is thick like a lipstick but provides moisture and it’s a red that can work well with any complexion. “Bliss” is by far my favorite, it is a tube of sparkling, whimsical, mauve goodness. This mauve shades works well for day or night.
Kissable Couture proves that it is worth the price tag and is truly Oscar worthy. Try the summer line, Bare Your Soul: The Nudes Collection. http://www.kissablecouture.com/
